Story
Rae is a 5-7 month old husky mix recently. Very sweet dog, follows you around everywhere and just wants to be with people and get as many pets as possible. She is crate trained, loves to play fetch, knows basic commands and we are working on more. Unfortunately our older dog, an Aussie Shepard (who has previously lived with other dogs), is not warming up to her at all; this has lead to some confrontation between the animals. We are at 1.5 weeks of the 3 weeks based on the 3/3/3 method and have had no success with the two animals building a relationship. Our plans are to meet with a behaviorist/trainer to try to bridge the relationship between the dogs but still have our concerns for both dogs in the long-term. We just want what is best for both animals and for Rae to find a loving home where she can continue to soak up the love she deserves.

Story
Fable is a playful one-year-old with a gorgeous white coat, toasted ears, and the sweetest eyes. We think she’s a golden retriever and dachshund mix, and she’s got the personality to match that combo. This girl loves other dogs and would do great with a playmate who can keep up with her energy. She’s always up for exploring and adventure. When she’s home, she’s glued to your side and loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch or in bed. She’s still working on her potty training. Fable knows how to use the doggie door, but she’s only 80% sure that the doggie door should be used when nature calls. The good news is that she will use a strategically placed potty pad. She hasn’t been tested with cats and does have a prey drive with small animals. But if you’re looking for an affectionate, playful companion who just wants to be wherever you are, Fable might be your girl! Fable has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
