Story
Theo is a beautiful 2 year old purebred English Cream Golden Retriever. We purchased him from the breeder who owns both of his parents. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old. He is a very sweet and loyal dog to the adults in his home, but he has always been anxious around small children. He has been through several months of training and as a result is a great leash walker (with a gentle leader) and obedient. He loves chasing bubbles, going on walks, trips to Lowe's, and car rides. He can be very lovey and affectionate, but he also likes to be left alone sometimes. The only reason we have chosen to rehome him is because we cannot trust him around our kids and their friends - he is tolerant of our children but very skittish around their friends. He does have high anxiety going to the vet and groomers and has shown some aggression towards both. But he has never bitten anyone. He would be much happier in a kid-free home where he can get the exercise and attention he deserves.

We recently took in this pup as a foster dog from another lady who needed her gone. She is a SUPER sweet dog, but her and my female golden do not get along well. She appears to also be afraid of large men. My partner is 6'3 and will she run away from him. She has a lot of energy and loves to play. The previous owner said she had another male dog, which she does great with our male golden. She will also need a bit of training as the previous owner wasn't there a lot of the time, which is why she re-homed her. We think she would benefit from a family with only one other dog.
