Story
Kota is the best dog I’ve ever owned (including all I grew up with that’s’ out of 7). He is so sweet and is the quintessential Golden. He was pure bred in Japan, born in November 2015, and rehomed to me at one year old. He understands commands well and lives to fetch. He has an aggressive bark but is the most gentle dog you will ever meet. He will match your energy and just wants to be with “the pack”. That means he will follow you absolutely everywhere. His downsides are his shedding, that he has a wheat allergy that manifests in hot spots on his hind quarters or legs/paws, and his seizures. They started when he was about 5 years old and home alone a lot. Since we have added two other dogs and my wife began staying at home last May, and we switched him to a higher quality food (Orijen Senior Dog), he has not had one. When they did happen he would be unable to stand up, then once we rolled him onto his side he would begin shaking for a couple of minutes, then return to normal.

Meet Truffles! Truffles is an adorable & exuberant puppy with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. She has a genetic condition that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Oria is a beautiful fluffy girl who is three years old and weighs in around 50 pounds. She is a mix of Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees and that may make you think, "BIG DOG!", but honestly, she's not really all that big, she's more "fluff". :) Oria is not only a beauty, but she is also a sweetheart AND has absolutely everything you are looking for in a dog! Honestly, she has it all ... she's social, does well with men, women and children, other dogs and even cats! She walks well on leash, rides well in a car, and is crate and house trained. What more could you possibly ask for!? Oria has been vetted (got all of her shots, kennel cough vaccination, flea, tick and heartworm preventative and was spayed) and was found to be heartworm negative. She just has everything going for her ... EXCEPT she's homeless. Oria's twin sister was adopted several weeks back and now it's her turn. She's just the greatest girl ... please share her information with your family and friends. We so want to get her in her forever home. Story
Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
