Story
These boys are like our children. They get walked twice a day and we even cook for our dogs. But we are now battling cancer and must leave the country often for treatments. When we do, we are forced to put them in a kennel. That's no way to treat ones children. These boys need some children for company or someone like us that loves to go for runs. I know the fee is high, but it comes down when we can see evidence that our boys will be loved.

Story
EMERGENCY FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED – DENNY  Central Point, Oregon (near Medford, OR) Denny is a young Golden Retriever who arrived from Korea just a few days ago and is in urgent need of a new foster or adopter due to a home mismatch (not a behavioral issue). Meet Denny — The Sweetest Golden Retriever Looking for His Forever Family!   Name: Denny Age: 4 years Sex: Neutered Male Breed: Golden Retriever Color: Gold Weight: 31 kg Height: 66 cm (shoulder height)   Rescue Story Denny was rescued in February 2025 after being placed on the euthanasia list at a city shelter. He stayed at a private shelter for several months and moved to his foster home in June. Since then, he has blossomed into the most affectionate, people-loving Golden boy.   ‍‍‍ Socialization with People Denny is an incredibly affectionate dog who loves everyone — familiar people and strangers alike. • He leans in for pets, rubs against people, and loves belly rubs. • He is excellent with children under 13 and is comfortable being lifted or handled gently. • Even with new people, he often rolls over to show his belly. • He enjoys being near people during downtime, though he prefers sleeping alone. • He can be very enthusiastic — sometimes running in for hugs or kisses, which can surprise those not used to big friendly dogs! • No issues with baths, paw cleaning, or handling. He tolerates teeth brushing but isn’t a fan.   Socialization with Dogs Denny is friendly and polite with other dogs. • He approaches both familiar and unfamiliar dogs to greet and play. • He matches well with medium to large dogs and enjoys playful interactions.   With Cats • He watches cats with curiosity outdoors, but when guided by his handler, he follows direction well and continues walking. (He may be suitable for a cat home with proper introductions.)   Energy Level • At first glance he seems high-energy, but his stamina is moderate. • After 3–4 hours of outdoor activity, he often falls asleep as soon as he gets in the car. • During play with dog friends, he starts energetic but will bark to set boundaries when he becomes tired or overstimulated.   ‍ Walks & Outdoor Behavior Denny is a joy to walk. • He has plenty of leash experience and doesn’t pull. • He loves sniffing and will naturally slow down or stop to explore scents. • He becomes excited when he sees the leash — may jump or mouth the leash — so calming him before leaving the house is important. • He loves balls and toys; he can even find hidden balls in grass and often brings home any he discovers during walks!   Other Behaviors • No resource guarding toward people or dogs. • Rarely barks. • Calm in a crate and knows how to get in/out of the car by himself. • Sometimes refuses to get in the car after walks because he wants to stay outside longer. • Mostly potty-trained outdoors. • If he has stomach discomfort early in the morning, he will wake his person up to go outside — letting him out promptly helps prevent indoor accidents. • Occasionally gets soft stool after eating too many treats.   Denny Is Looking For… A family who loves Golden Retrievers’ affectionate, goofy, people-loving personality. Someone who enjoys outdoor activities, understands his excitement around walks, and can provide structure, companionship, and lots of love.   If you think Denny could be the perfect match for you, please submit an adoption application! Story
Ready for her flight to Vancouver 🇨🇦 Background: Shiloh is a beautiful girl who was rescued from a city pound in Buan, Korea last summer. After her rescue, she moved to our partner boarding house, where she has been living peacefully with other dogs. At the time of rescue, Shiloh was heartworm positive. She bravely completed her treatment and is now healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever home. Personality and Socialization: Shiloh has a lovely Golden Retriever type personality. She is friendly, social, and very people oriented. She is comfortable with both men and women and enjoys being around people, getting attention, and snuggling close. She is not shy and warms up easily, making her a joy to be around. Shiloh has lived with many dogs and does best with friendly dogs who enjoy playtime. She loves running around and spending time outdoors, and she gets along well with dogs that have good manners and positive energy. Behaviour: Shiloh is easygoing and well balanced. She enjoys playtime with dogs and people, but once she has had her fun, she is happy to lie down and relax nearby. She is not a big barker. She may bark a little when excited, such as at mealtime or when visitors arrive, but these are happy, short moments. She enjoys going for walks and loves outdoor time. She may pull a bit when she is excited, but overall she walks well on leash. Shiloh handles vet visits, baths, and car rides calmly and cooperatively. Health and Diet: Shiloh has fully completed her heartworm treatment and is now healthy. She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated up to date. She has also completed dental scaling and receives monthly parasite preventatives. She eats dry food twice a day, is not a picky eater, and has shown no signs of food allergies. Ideal Home: Shiloh loves being with her people and would be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time. Having another friendly dog to play with would be wonderful, as she enjoys canine companionship. A calm, loving family with a relaxed lifestyle and plenty of time to spend together would be the perfect match for this gentle, affectionate girl. Shiloh is truly a special soul, ready to give her whole heart to the family who welcomes her home.

Story
Luna is an approximately 1.5-year-old golden retriever mix with a heartbreaking past, but an unyielding spirit. Luna's life began on the streets as a stray. At some point, she became a mother to a litter of puppies. Tragically, while her puppies were still very young, Luna was struck by a car, leaving her hind legs paralyzed and struggling to survive. A local resident noticed Luna dragging herself through the streets to find food for herself and her puppies. Soon after, Luna was rescued along with her puppies. However, due to limited resources, Luna eventually found her way to Baibao Rescue, where we've been committed to providing her with the care and attention she deserves. Through diligent rehabilitation in the last few months, Luna has shown impressive progress. Though her gait remains unsteady, she can now bear weight on her back legs and walk independently. While incontinence remains an issue, she has also made significant progress. She currently wears a diaper but we believe that with the right owner, she can further improve. Luna is a loving and friendly dog, despite her tragic past. Her playful curiosity brings joy to every day, as she explores her surroundings with newfound happiness. She gets along well with both cats and dogs. Luna loves to eat but kind of goes crazy over food and eats too quickly, understandable given her background but it's something prospective owners will need to keep in mind. Luna would not be suitable for a household with dogs that are food-protective. However, Luna's interest in food will make training her much easier. For Luna's forever home, we seek an experienced dog owner with the time and patience to continue her rehabilitation. An individual who works from home or is retired would be an ideal match, as Luna requires constant attention and support. Caring for a disabled dog is a responsibility, but the rewards are immeasurable as you witness her progress and thrive. If you're ready to provide the love and care Luna needs, she'll reward you with unwavering loyalty and affection. Let Luna's story be a testament to the resilience of animals in the face of adversity. Adopt Luna and give her the chance to experience the love and security she's deserves.
