Story
Golden is a well behaved gentlemen who needs a loving and caring family. He is the sweetest boy and is respectful of property. He knows basic commands and is house trained, has great manners with children and other animals. Golden loves running in the backyard, going on walks, and having cuddles and belly rubs. He has been trained to be left home alone for 7-8 hours so if you’re a working professional golden will be A-okay during those hours alone. Due to unforeseen situations I can no longer keep this sweet boy, therefore I’m looking for a loving home for him.

4-5 month old male golden doodle/husky mix Nemo has healed from his amputations and is now ready for his new home! This adorable pup came to us with not 3…not 4… but 5 legs! Unfortunately due to two of them not being formed or usuable, we were told by 2 seperate vets that those extra flippers needed to go! Nemo’s DNA is made up of 50% siberian husky, 25.1% golden retriever, and 24.9% standard poodle! His husky genes come through strong as this guy LOVES to talk. A note from his foster - Nemo has been through a lot in his little life, dumped as a baby then he came to us. Born with a congenital deformity with two extra arms but he never let it bother him. After his major surgery he has healed and acts like nothing has ever happened. He is a three legged dog that acts like he has four. This does not slow him down at all!! He is the sweetest most playful boy! He loves toys, kongs, treats, belly rubs and giving kisses. When he gets tired he just wants a soft spot to sleep. He is puppy pad/newspaper trained. This sweet silly boy needs a home that can keep up with him and all he begs for is your attention. He is curious about cats and likes other dogs. He will be a great addition to your home. He will need a home with no pool (unless it’s completely fenced off) and no stairs. Fully vaccinated, Dewormed, Chipped, Neutered ****PLEASE DO NOT CALL TO CHECK STATUS OF A DOG...PHONE CALLS ARE FOR EMERGENCIES ONLY. EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS ON ADOPTION AS WE DO NOT GET BACK TO PHONE CALLS ABOUT ADOPTION. Shots up to date (DHPP), wormed, micro chipped, altered (spayed/neutered).   Adoption cost for this dog is $300...now only $200  We are a rescue, and although we have a facility in Modesto most of our dogs/pups are currently being fostered  in or around our area. So please be willing to make the trip to see them if you are from out of the area. Our adoption process REQUIRES that an application must first be submitted and approved prior to meeting any of our pets. Just note that we may get several responses on one pet at a time so just because you have an approved application does not mean said pet is on hold for you. One must FIRST confirm an appointment to meet the pet after an approved application has been sent. To inquire about this specific pet, please write to info@pupznpalz.org for an application. Please remember to put the pets name in the subject line when emailing, and on the top on the application. It helps us to help you that must faster. We are a group of volunteers, and ask that you please bare with us. We will get to each person just as quickly as we can. Theo was abandoned in our orchard with his brother in April 2024. We took them in and tried to raise them. Theo was very timid and didn’t not trust humans. overtime he overcame his fear and was open to love. Now he is the most protective and loving dog We sent Theo for board & training Feb 2025 for 10 wks .. he didn’t do very well and resent him for training again for another 6 wks in July 2025. Theo is loveable and patient he gets excited for pets he loves to press his big body against your legs so you can pet him very protective. He does food guard which we have accommodated with separate bowls and Spaces to eat Unfortunately there was a recent incident with our cat being dead. Not sure if Theo involved but he attacked his brother. With this we can no longer keep him. His brother and him need to be separated as we are inexperienced dog owners but through research find they have litter mate syndrome but also high anxiety when not together..Theo would make a great dog for a family
