MEET HOWIE! This happy, gentle Golden Retriever-Ridgeback-Pit mix is a loverboy! Howie is 5-1/2 years young and has a heart full of love to give. He was rescued from a California shelter in very rough shape - he had major skin issues/hair loss and had clearly been neglected, but now he looks so much better! He's appreciative of love and attention and is a very affectionate boy. He's a big snuggler and will want to share your bed. He loves going for walks and other outings. He is good with some dogs but not others, so would probably thrive as the only dog in the home, or with a submissive female. He's been waiting a long time for his own home, and we're hoping he can find a home by the end of the year. Howie currently needs a foster or forever home. He weighs about 55-60 lbs. Howie is still in California, but can be transported to you in Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
Meet Goldie, a 6-week-old Retriever mix puppy with a soft yellow-tan coat and a sweet 10-pound frame. She is one of seven puppies from a rescued mom and already has a wonderful personality shining through. Goldie is adventurous and curious when exploring her surroundings, yet affectionate, gentle, and patient when it’s time to slow down. She loves to play, confidently engages with the world around her, and is always ready to snuggle up for some extra love. Goldie is located in San Bernardino County, California, and she and her siblings will be ready to go to their forever homes right before Christmas. Prior to pickup, she will receive her first set of vaccinations, be dewormed, and microchipped. The adoption fee is $400.
