Ginger's elderly owners were no longer able to care for her. A family took temporary custody of her in the effort to find her a new forever home. This is what that family has to say about Ginger: Ginger is a sweet, playful one-year-old Golden Retriever mix (possibly mixed with a Husky). Ginger is approximately 1 year old. She is about 40 pounds and is already spayed. Personality & Temperament: Ginger is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She loves being petted, enjoys playtime, and is great with kids. She does well with other dogs and genuinely enjoys being around people. She also loves going on hikes and would make a wonderful companion for an active individual or family. Ginger is at a great age — past the tiny puppy stage but still young, energetic, and eager to bond. With consistency and love, she has all the potential to be an amazing lifelong companion. Let’s help Ginger find her forever family! All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Handsome Sonny joined the rescue from a property with golden retrievers where the breeding got out of hand. Sonny is 10 months old. His mom is a beautiful red golden retriever and his dad is an English cream. Sonny is underweight for his age as the property owner was not feeding the dogs enough, so Sonny is loving his time in foster care with lots of snacks and snuggles. He is very friendly with other dogs, and absolutely loves people. He's shy at first, but warms up quickly and is very sweet. Sonny is new to foster care, so we are still learning about him, but we will update his profile as we learn more. His adoption fee covers his transport from Texas, neuter, vaccines, microchip, and vet check. The first step is the adoption fee. Kanna is 3 years old she is the most sweet, playful, loving girl. She’s very chill and loves the play catch. She does get scared of other dogs unless properly introduced then she has done fine. She does need trained on going on walks more we just havnt had the time She does amazing with children and will literally wrap her arms around you to hug you. Shes so cuddly and such a happy girl. Our older male dog is her best friend but he’s on his way out unfortunately and I feel she will be so sad and depressed without him. We are so sad to rehome her but we are having a baby and work so much and dont have time to give her the life she deserves and the time she needs to be outside . We want her to go to a home that has time and maybe a great big yard. Also someone who would play fetch with her and give her the attention she deserves
