Maddie is a breeder release English Golden Retriever born January 2021. She has a sweet disposition, a little shy, loves attention and walks well on a leash. She isn't used to getting in and out of the car yet, but rides well once she is inside. We were told she should be an only dog, but here at the shelter she doesn't seem to have a problem with the other dogs. Maddie is a calm, sweet girl and keeps a clean kennel. She would be a great addition to a quiet household. All pets adopted from the Humane Society of Freeborn County will be spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, testing and will be microchipped. All of this is included in their adoption fee. Fill out an application to adopt at freeborncountyhs.org When transitioning your new pet home please allow for at least 4-6 weeks for your pet to adjust to their new home. They will need this time to decompress, and adjust to a new routine and environment. During that time we will provide check ins and counseling to ensure a successful transition. Please review all basic adoption requirements listed on our website before applying. We take finding the right homes for the animals in our care very seriously. They deserve nothing but the best! Please allow 2-7 days for applications to be processed. If an animal is listed in foster care, these pets are not at our facility, but are in foster care homes. They are still available for adoption, and meet and greets are done with pre-approved applicants only.
