Story
Meet McCoy – the sweetest little sidekick you didn’t know you were missing. At just 4.5 months old and 24 pounds, McCoy is a delightful mix of silly, snuggly, and smart. He may be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and you’ll quickly discover his playful personality and affectionate heart. McCoy comes from a pretty interesting family tree! His mom is a Heeler/Beagle mix and his dad is a cream-colored Goldendoodle, which resulted in one very unique and adorable pup. He has the coloring of his siblings but favors his Beagle-mix mama in looks — with short little legs, a loooong Basset-style body, and a thick, medium-length coat that’s perfect for cuddling. Though he was born outside and spent his early weeks living outdoors with his parents and littermates, McCoy is now thriving inside a loving foster home. He’s learning all about family life — from the excitement of greeting you at the door (he gives the best welcome-home kisses!) to living with young boys ages 6 and 10. Every day he grows braver and more confident. At first, the big dogs in his foster home made him a little nervous — but now? He’s happily part of the crew. He absolutely loves to run and play outside, and fetch with tennis balls is quickly becoming one of his favorite games. And yes… he is SMART. You can just see those wheels turning. One of the most special things about McCoy is how deeply he bonds with his people. When his foster mom recently had a terrible migraine, McCoy instinctively curled up beside her and stayed close, offering quiet comfort. He’s not just cute — he truly cares. His activity level is beautifully balanced. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he’s just as happy snuggled up right next to you. With a loving, supportive family, McCoy is going to absolutely bloom into the best kind of companion — loyal, joyful, and full of heart. He is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a special boy who is adorable inside and out, McCoy may be your perfect match. To learn more about McCoy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. We transport from our rescue base in Nashville up the northeastern corridor of states to approved adopters. McCoy is ready to find his forever family — maybe it’s you. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.June 29, 2026, 7:37 pm

Story
Meet Ivory – 30 Pounds of Pure Sunshine and Puppy Perfection!   At just 6 months old, Ivory is already stealing hearts everywhere she goes. This beautiful Goldendoodle girl weighs about 30 pounds right now and is expected to grow into a lovely 50-pound adult. If you're looking for a puppy with the perfect blend of sweetness, intelligence, beauty, and an easy-going personality, your search may be over. Ivory came to us from Kentucky after her family, who adopted her as a very young puppy, realized they could no longer provide the care she deserved. Their loss is truly someone else's incredible gain because this girl is nothing short of amazing. In fact, her foster mom keeps trying to find something less than perfect about Ivory and simply can't. She is calm, gentle, affectionate, and remarkably well-mannered for such a young pup. With her soft white coat and loving eyes, she looks like a little angel—and she certainly acts like one, too. Ivory absolutely adores people and thrives on affection. Whether she's soaking up belly rubs, following her foster mom around the house, or simply resting nearby, she is happiest when she's with her humans. She is smart, eager to please, and has the kind of temperament that makes her a wonderful fit for almost any lifestyle. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, enjoys visits to the dog park, and approaches life with a sweet, gentle confidence that makes everyone fall in love with her. Ivory is currently recovering from some minor skin irritation caused by fleas she had before coming into rescue, but it's healing nicely and doesn't slow her down one bit. What Ivory wants most is simple: a family who will cherish her, include her in their lives, and give her the love and attention she so happily returns. In exchange, she'll offer a lifetime of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love.Dogs like Ivory don't come along every day. If this special girl sounds like the missing piece in your family, don't wait. Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccnewengland@gmail.com and be sure to tell us where you live when you inquire.PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 29, 2026, 7:37 pm
