Story
Amazingly adorable smart sweet playful puppies. Mom is a beautiful Golden/Border Collie mix, working dog, that’s why she is muddy, it was raining and she is always working. They say she is a border collie but she looks like a lab/golden to me, pictured last. We are guessing she weighed about 30-35 pounds, and their Dad is their neighbors Shiba Inu, not available for pictures. They guessed he weighed about 20-25 pounds. This was not a planned litter, original owners took great care of them and called us for help finding them homes when they were ready to leave their mom. They get along well with people, kids and other dogs. They were born on 2/22/26 are up to date on shots and have been wormed. They are eating, playing and going to the bathroom like happy healthy puppies. This breed mix are the smartest and quickest learners. Already potty trained. Carter is black and white and Colsen is tri colored. They should be medium size when fully grown. They weigh around 7 pounds at 8 weeks. To make an appointment to meet them call/text 586-855-6119. $225 adoption fee each.

We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay online until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peaks your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Fill out the application completely. Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 100-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 animal that you are interested in.-Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other options. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). The introductions will take place outside in our parking lot (or in our cat room if you're meeting cats).-We will perform vet checks for current and prior pets in the household.-Finalizing the adoption will also be scheduled by appointment.Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Kaya is a mixed-breed (Golden Retriever, Samoyed, and more) with a gentle, loving personality. We adopted her at around 1 year old, she’s fully house-trained and well-mannered.She’s a beautiful dog who gets compliments everywhere she goes, but more importantly, she’s calm, low-energy, and very easy to care for. Kaya enjoys relaxing at home and does best in a quiet environment, as loud noises can make her uneasy. She is wonderful with our daughter—very gentle, patient, and affectionate. She has also stayed in a home with a cat and did well.m while we were on vacation. Kaya has so much love to give and thrives on companionship. We are heartbroken to rehome her due to our daughter’s allergies and limited time. We’re looking for a loving home where she will be cherished and cared for. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!

Silly boy Skip is ready to meet your doggies! This is some real little brother material! Skip has been with us for a while now - and has recently gained so much confidence in dog dynamics! He is curious and friendly with all friendly dogs. Skip loves dog puzzles, and especially Kong Wobbler. He knows basic commands, and is good at staying home during the work day. We don't know what breed Skip is, but he has medium fur and is very soft. Skip is around 40 pounds and medium energy. He will be nervous with the transition to his new home, but we know he will acclimate within a week. Apply here for * brushing * and fun! rebeldogsdetroit.com/applytoadopt
