Meet Chevrolet (Chevy) & Dodge 💛 Chevy & Dodge ❤️🐾. We still can’t believe this sweet duo hasn’t found their furever home to spend their golden years. Chevy and Dodge are a bonded mother-and-son pair who must be adopted together. Chevy is mama at 13 years young, and her son Dodge is 9. Don’t let their ages fool you — these two still have plenty of energy and love to play. True to their golden nature, they love everyone they meet, big or small, and their favorite thing is simply being near their humans. Expect lots of happy greetings, hugs, and plenty of kisses. Dodge is the ultimate attention seeker and wants to be right by your side at all times. When he’s not cuddled up next to you, he’s ready for a game of fetch. He’ll happily ask you to throw the ball 100 times… but returning it every time? That’s negotiable. Chevy is a little more laid back, but don’t let her age fool you — she’s still full of spunk and will happily romp around with her son. They love to wrestle, roll in the grass, and soak up time outdoors. Chevy especially loves water and will jump in for a swim if you let her. They both know how to use a doggy door and have been wonderful house guests. While they don’t do well being kenneled, they’ve shown no destructive behavior in the home when their exercise and attention needs are met. Because they still have plenty of playful energy, they would do best in a home with a yard or with an active family committed to keeping them engaged and loved. This Shepherd mix is a gorgeous young male with a sleek black coat and warm brown undertones. Zukie is so intelligent that we joke he needs to be enrolled in school full-time! He is the ultimate candidate for someone who enjoys the process of training and wants a dog that can keep up with any activity. His focus is always on his human, and he will reward your leadership with endless loyalty. Zukie is a sensitive soul who takes just a moment to warm up to new faces, but once he knows you’re his person, he’ll never want to leave your side. He’s also a fantastic friend to other canines and gets along great with dogs of all sizes. Since we want Zukie to reach his full potential, the rescue is including group obedience classes with his adoption. Frosty is a 6-week-old Retriever puppy with a thick, fuzzy white coat and an irresistible face. He currently weighs about 10 lbs and is one of seven adorable pups from a litter we welcomed after rescuing their mom. These babies will be ready to go to their forever homes just in time for Christmas. Frosty is everything you’d hope for in a puppy—adventurous, affectionate, confident, curious, gentle, playful, and incredibly snuggly. He loves exploring the world around him and then curling up for cuddles when playtime is over. Before adoption, Frosty will receive his first set of vaccinations, be dewormed, and microchipped.
