Story
Meet Atlas! If you’ve been waiting for the dog of a lifetime, look no further than our sweet boy, Atlas! He is literally perfection in every way. He is a three-year-old Golden Retriever/Lab mix, and is the most handsome and best boy. Atlas gets along with cats, dogs and children. He is doggy door trained, and knows sit, paw and wait. He is kennel trained but he’s such a good boy and is not destructive at all so he really does not need to sleep in a crate at night or when you leave the home. Atlas loves a good wrestling match with his furry foster siblings; throw a ball for him, and he will be in heaven! If you are interested in meeting Atlas, please fill out an adoption interest form on our website and the foster will get back to you shortly. Adoption fees and home checks apply.

Story
I got Loki at Nevada Humane Society. He was always a playful dog, rarely barks but he’s a great companion to have but he needs an owner that will be physically active with him, it’s when he is the most happy. He likes to jump on you, very affectionate with licks.

Story
A27303 Biscotti is a brown colored, approximately 1-year-old, 43-pound, neutered male, Retriever mix. He entered the shelter as a stray on 04-22-2025. Biscotti is friendly, a little unsure, but an easy-to-handle boy here at the shelter. He is still trying to figure out this shelter environment and why he is here. Our staff describes him as a sweet boy who gives kisses once comfortable with you and he likes to snuggle in your legs when you sit with him. He was easy to leash and well behaved during our walks. He has had some training and will “sit” upon command. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Walking right by them while they bark at him. Biscotti will be a loving companion in his new forever home.

Story
Zorro is a 9-month old Golden Retriever/Border Collie mix. Currently about 45lbs, but will not grow much larger. He has a wonderful temperament, and is incredibly loving and sweet. He does not show any signs of destructive behavior, is housebroken, and shows basic understanding of simple commands. He is currently being trained on loose-lead walking, and only pulls occasionally and is easily correctable. We are trying to rehome Zorro as we currently have a smaller dog. He loves to play, but can be a little rough with smaller dogs, and shows signs of a medium-high prey drive. Would excel in a home with other medium/large dogs.
