Story
MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Meet Chelsea — a sweet, golden-hearted senior looking for her forever home. Chelsea is a 10–12-year-old Golden mix who proves that age is just a number. This older gal still has plenty of joy left to share, especially when there’s snow to play in, a stuffed toy to toss around, or a good game of tug-of-war on the agenda. She’s a social lady who gets along well with other dogs and cats. She hasn’t been tested with children yet, so we’re not sure how she’d feel about tiny humans. Chelsea isn’t a big cuddler, but she truly loves being near her people—content to hang out in the same room and soak up your presence. Chelsea does have some hearing loss, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. She’s potty trained and crate trained, and she’s currently working on polishing her leash manners. With a little patience and consistency, she’ll keep improving. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys playtime, peaceful togetherness, and snowy adventures, Chelsea might just be your perfect match. She’s ready to bring warmth, companionship, and a whole lot of heart into her next chapter. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. MBR Farm is offering ONE Free Private Training session for dogs adopted from us in the month of March. That is a $125 value. Any additional session will be discounted to $80 per private session for an unlimited amount of sessions. No limit, no time limit. Your first session must be completed before May 1, 2026. After May 1st the cost of your first session will be a discounted rate of $100. Story
Coco is a beautiful female Goldendoodle/Lab mix weighing in at 53 pounds of love and enthusiasm. She will celebrate her very first birthday on March 15, 2026, and she’s ready to start her next chapter with an active, committed family.Coco came to us as an owner surrender. Her previous family loved her very much but recognized they couldn’t provide the level of activity and structure she needs to thrive. She’s truly a wonderful girl — just a big, happy, high-spirited puppy who needs the right outlet for all that zest for life. This gentle giant thrives in an active home. She loves playing with her people, enjoys a good game of fetch, and is always ready for fun. Coco does well with children and other dogs, including small dogs she previously lived with. Because she’s still learning her manners and can accidentally knock over little ones in her excitement, a home with older children would be the best fit. Cat compatibility is unknown.Coco is reported to be housetrained and accustomed to using a doggie door. She has been free to roam the home when her people are away and is used to sleeping in bed with her person. She is very puppyish and will benefit from continued general obedience training and polishing up her manners. With consistency and structure, she’s going to shine. As a doodle mix, Coco will require regular brushing and professional grooming to keep her coat healthy and comfortable. Please be sure to research grooming needs and costs before submitting an adoption application so you’re fully prepared to meet her lifelong care needs.Coco is available through our foster-to-adopt program, which allows you to welcome her into your home while she completes her vetting, including spay surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, and heartworm testing. She’s an all-around good girl with a big heart and an even bigger personality — just waiting for a family ready to embrace her energy and love. If you’re ready to meet this beautiful girl and give her the loving home she deserves, please email dogadoptions@parmashelter.org and submit a dog adoption application online. Coco’s adoption fee is $250.

Story
Screech is a 10-month-old Retriever mix bursting with personality and energy! This fun-loving girl is always ready for action and would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her playful spirit. She does best with dogs her size or larger who enjoy rough-and-tumble play, and she would be happiest in a home without small animals. Because of her enthusiasm and puppy exuberance, she’s a great match for families with older children who can handle her bouncy nature. Screech is still learning her manners and has some typical puppy habits—like chewing and occasionally destroying toys (both hers and yours!)—so she’ll benefit from continued training, structure, and plenty of appropriate outlets for her energy. With guidance, exercise, and love, Screech will grow into a loyal, adventurous companion.

Story
Bing Bong is a youthful Pit Bull mix with a heart full of joy and a body full of happy wiggles! In playgroup, he’s all about romping, wrestling, and making new friends. He adores other playful dogs and has great doggy manners—if a buddy tells him “no,” he’s quick to listen and move on to the next game.On his Dog`s Day Out, his friend for the day said, `Bing Bong relaxed, sleeping across my lap with his head on my chest/ shoulders. I hope he felt the LOVE he deserves.` (Are you swooning, cuz we are!) Because of his enthusiastic nature, Bing Bong is looking for a forever home with kids 10 and older and like sized pups. His zest for life is contagious, and he’s ready to fill your days with laughter, love, and nonstop fun!
