MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Meet Chelsea — a sweet, golden-hearted senior looking for her forever home. Chelsea is a 10–12-year-old Golden mix who proves that age is just a number. This older gal still has plenty of joy left to share, especially when there’s snow to play in, a stuffed toy to toss around, or a good game of tug-of-war on the agenda. For an older gal Chelsea still has some speed behind her and if given the chance will run, so we recommend her future family have a fenced in yard. She’s a social lady who gets along well with other dogs and cats. She hasn’t been tested with children yet, so we’re not sure how she’d feel about tiny humans. Chelsea isn’t a big cuddler, but she truly loves being near her people—content to hang out in the same room and soak up your presence. Chelsea does have some hearing loss, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. She’s potty trained and crate trained, and she’s currently working on polishing her leash manners. With a little patience and consistency, she’ll keep improving. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys playtime, peaceful togetherness, and snowy adventures, Chelsea might just be your perfect match. She’s ready to bring warmth, companionship, and a whole lot of heart into her next chapter. If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 11 years Adoption Fee: $200

Screech is a 10-month-old Retriever mix bursting with personality and energy! This fun-loving girl is always ready for action and would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her playful spirit. She does best with dogs her size or larger who enjoy rough-and-tumble play, and she would be happiest in a home without small animals. Because of her enthusiasm and puppy exuberance, she’s a great match for families with older children who can handle her bouncy nature. Screech is still learning her manners and has some typical puppy habits—like chewing and occasionally destroying toys (both hers and yours!)—so she’ll benefit from continued training, structure, and plenty of appropriate outlets for her energy. With guidance, exercise, and love, Screech will grow into a loyal, adventurous companion.

HAPPY EASTER FROM MR. PEEP!! This gorgeous pup was pulled from a kill shelter!!! He was picked up as a stray and no one was looking for him??? WHAT??????? Peep is a golden retriever mixed with maybe bordercollie. He is under one year old!!! Loves people of all ages. Dearly loves other dogs. Super playful. Crate trained and House broke. He is up-to-date on all shots, heartworm, tested negative, heartworm prevention, flea tip prevention for three months and microchips to his ad. Adoption fee is $400. Vet reference required.
