All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training and grooming facility. Update: Tilly has found her forever wonderful home!! Meet Tilly at Avon Hollywood Feed, May 23rd. She will visit from 11:00 AM to 12 noon!! Tilly is a 4 1/2-year-old Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix. We had her DNA done, and her top breeds were 58% Great Pyrenees and 27% Golden Retriever. Tilly weighs 75 lbs. Tilly is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic commands (sit, stay, down, come, leave it). Tilly is very smart and learns fast. Tilly LOVES to zoom around the yard, so a physically fenced-in yard is required. She's great with dogs of all sizes and thrives with a canine companion by her side, so we are looking for a home with another dog that can show her the ropes! A fenced-in yard and a dog friend are perfect for Tilly, and we want her to be HAPPY! Tilly is a sweet, fluffy girl who just needs a moment to decide you’re worthy—and once she does, she’s yours forever. She’s not shy; she’s discerning ;-). Give her a little space when you first meet, resist the urge to rush in, and she’ll come sniff you out on her own terms and settle in calmly to investigate her new friend. But with her people… she’s a full-on love bug. Expect a persistent paw on your hand the second you stop petting her—classic Golden mix. Her ideal home is patient, has a fenced-in yard, and already has a dog who would love a fluffy new best friend. This enthusiastic guy is always on the go and needs an experienced handler who can provide him with structure, training, and plenty of exercise. It seems no one has ever taken the time to teach him proper manners, but he’s eager to learn with the right guidance. Tate has recently spent some time in a foster home, and he was loving every second of it!! He's completely housebroken, crate trained and loves to snuggle up with you! He loves his toys too! Tate is always up for a walk, but not opposed to lounging on your couch either! Tate is super smart and thrives from direction! This dog is eligible for up to three in-home training sessions after adoption! These sessions are led by someone familiar with the dog’s training, personality, and needs. They’re a great way to ease the transition, answer questions, and help everyone start off on the right paw.
