I'm a 6-month-old pup weighing in at about 40 pounds, and I've got plenty more growing (and goofiness) left to do. If you're looking for a tiny purse pup, I accidentally wandered into the wrong story. But if you've been searching for a loyal adventure buddy with a big personality, you've reached the right chapter. I'm a happy-go-lucky guy who thinks every day should include something fun. Hiking? Count me in. Playing fetch? Absolutely. Splashing in the water? Now you're speaking my language! I love other dogs, adore people, and I'm always convinced the next person I meet is going to be my new best friend. Like any good puppy, I'm still polishing up my manners. My husband passed away tragically. My income has decreased significantly and I need to sell my home and downsize. I will be unable to have 3 dogs. Also…Harley is a big dog and he is not good with my senior small dogs. Not mean, just overly playful and clumsy. He hurts them unintentionally. They are tiny and blind/deaf. Not his fault. He loves cats and children. My teenage son is having a hard time with this decision but we have to do what is best for Harley. He deserves a good life…where he is the only dog.

He enjoys playing with toys or lounging on the couch, but he also loves a nice long walk. Once he knows you, he is very affectionate and can`t wait to smother you with kisses. Apollo can be nervous with new dogs and needs a slow introduction to form a lasting bond. With management and a gentle hand, he shows potential to live with another dog, but he would likely prefer to be the only dog in his forever home so he can soak up all of your love! I arrived at the shelter with my eight puppies, and we were all on the euthanasia list. I was so emaciated that every meal I got went straight to my babies. Thankfully, a rescue saw something worth saving in all of us... and because of that, I'm here to tell my own story. These days, life is looking a whole lot brighter. I'm a 67-pound sweetheart with a playful side that's finally getting its chance to shine. I absolutely love toys—seriously, if it squeaks, bounces, or can be carried around, I'm a fan. And if there's water nearby? You'll probably find me splashing around with the biggest smile on my face. I'm a little shy when meeting new people, so I may not run into your arms on day one. But please don't mistake my caution for a lack of love. Once I know I'm safe, I become an incredibly affectionate, loyal girl who just wants to be close to her people. One thing that really helps me feel confident is having another dog around. I'd thrive in a home with a friendly canine companion who can show me that the world isn't such a scary place.
