Update: Meet Cupid!! She is the BEST old girl. She is 17 years old, blind in one eye and doesn't hear very well. BUT...she gets around great, has a great appetite and loves treats. Because she is older, she likes to lay around most of the time but occasionally she gets a burst of energy and will play like a pup. She is housebroken and let's you know when she has to go outside. We've had her almost a month and she hasn't had a single accident. She does enjoy short walks but prefers to lounge around the house. She gets along great with our 2 chihuahuas. She deserves a loving forever home! She would be great for an older, less active family, IMHO.Sometimes it can’t be helped. Cupids owners loved her dearly but life got in the way. She is 17 years young and his loving family has lost everything. She needed Russell Rescue to say yes so she does not have to live in a car. We thank her family for reaching out for help Now it is your turn! Cupid is heading to our vet to have everything checked out and her vetting made current. When this is done she should move happily into his next loving home for the rest of her life. Please open your home and heart to this precious girl 30 lbs of cuddle and love. Non shedding so she will need regular grooming to keep her in style.Russellrescuetn@gmail.comAvailable dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.The application is the first step.
