Story
Dottie is a Chocolate and White female puppy who is a spunky and loving girl who wants only to be near her foster mom everywhere she goes.  Born to a beautiful, homeless Golden Retriever mix momma named Honey, Dottie was part of a litter of 8 puppies soon became a rumor of desertion and abandonment in a small town rural area of Tennessee.  Their momma Honey was known to travel the roadside looking for food and sustenance and people talked of her puppies being located in a wooded area and roaming.  A kind single mom with 2 children of her own and working two jobs, heard the rumor, and went looking for this desperate little family.  She found momma Honey and her brood living under a flat bed trailer at the edge of a wooded area. We have the pictures and video.  Rescue foster mom, Kayla, took them home and soon a search was started to find help from a rescue group that could secure homes and vetting assistance for this large family.   Critter Cavalry stepped up even though this foster family were 3.5 hours  away. Everyone made it work. Dottie is a pretty girl who will one day be a 55-60 pounds girl with the sweetest face that is accented and remembered for her deeply green eyes and chocolate polka dots and freckles.  She is fun loving and wants to be in the middle of the party action when her siblings are having too much fun.  She is an observant girl that is sensitive and loves to know what is going on all around her at all times. She is very bright and an active girl that is engaged and ready to have all the fun she can in life.  A wonderful girl who will be your greatest cuddle companion as you grab a bowl of Popcorn and turn on your favorite TV shows to binge on for a weekend of getting lost from all the cares of the world, Dottie is there for you and will be your favorite Mini ME as she mirrors the mood and energy level of her new owner and family.    She is destined to be a 50-55 pound girl but will always be a  puppy who is eager to learn and easy going with her attitude toward life.  She has the most beautiful green eyes and the softest skin that is so ready to be stroked and petted.  She is growing and she will be a perfect family companion as she is displays her easy nature at all the right times in life.  Not one aggressive bone in her body.  Dottie has been around young children and great and also has been around a small cat as well and did well.  She is a chameleon in life.  She will adjust and fit right in wherever she is planted. A beauty that is ready to blossom right before your eyes.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in this sweet girl.  We recommend a home with a fenced yard or large outside property for her best family fit.  She is ready NOW!!!!!        ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Just one look at Beau's face and you'll understand why everyone falls in love with him. Those soulful eyes...those adorable floppy ears with their soft feel and all that extra Hound dog skin that you know he will grow in to and be a gorgeous adult boy. He was born in a litter of 8 puppies to a Momma dog who is a Golden Retriever mix and just was adopted on 9/18.  We have to believe that Dad was handsome traveling Hound mix that will influence Beau's ultimate size to be 65 pounds as an adult. He is a chunky boy now at 13 weeks and weighing 26 pounds. Born around the middle of June this boy and his momma and siblings were just being raised in the outdoor area at the border of the woods and a home with a flatbed trailer that was parked in the backyard.  That was their cover from the rain and storms of summer.  Momma did well and finally someone was told of their desperate plight and took all 8 puppies and momma in to her carport area to get good food and care.  Critter Cavalry Rescue soon was contacted and stepped in.  Now this handsome  puppy who is quiet and observant of life, is looking for his soulmate family to spend the next 12+ years with.  He is so cuddly and melts in to your body when you pick him up after a long  day of his playing and adventuring.  He is a seeker of nature and loves to check out the things in life that make him curious and intrigued.  He is a chunky monkey that just relaxes in  your arms when you hold after a long afternoon of playing and hunting for the bugs and critters in the backyard.  He in a very attentive and caring foster home with other large dogs who adore his laidback personality.  They are crate training him and he is catching on FAST on the potty training too.  He knows the drill and if you are both in tune with each other you will find him 100% responsive to knowing how to take it outside.  He is destined to be a solid and heavy boy but not necessarily tall.  His Golden momma and possibly Hound dad will make him the mellow light yellow boy that will make a mark on your family life.  Beau is great with children as he has attended birthday  parties for young children and loved the attention and being held. Whatever his mix may be, one thing is certain—he's absolutely perfect just the way he is.Beau is everything you hope for in a puppy. Curious. Joyful. Smart. Affectionate. He's already using pee pads like a champ when he can't make it outside, and he's beginning to learn about crates, leashes, and all the exciting adventures that come with growing up. This solid and chunky guy wakes up every day ready to discover the world. Whether he's exploring the backyard, playing with other dogs, making friends with cats, or greeting complete strangers with a wagging tail, Beau approaches life with confidence and happiness. He truly believes everyone is a friend he just hasn't met yet. Because he's an active, intelligent puppy, Beau will thrive with a family that enjoys spending time outdoors. A securely fenced yard would be wonderful, or an active family committed to daily walks, trips to the dog park, and plenty of playtime and training. He's eager to learn and will blossom with the guidance, consistency, and love that every puppy deserves.Beau isn't just looking for a home, he's looking for his people—the family who will celebrate his silly puppy moments, teach him new things, laugh at his antics, and love him through every stage of life. In return, he'll fill your days with laughter, companionship, and unconditional love for years to come. If your heart skipped a beat when you saw Beau, it may be because he's been waiting for someone just like you.To learn more about adopting Beau, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Emily is a tender-hearted love bug. She loves all people and is becoming good friends with her foster siblings so far. While she loves a fenced in back yard so she can sunbathe at her leisure, she also knows and enjoys leash walking, though can pull some if a pesky squirrel tries to tease her or if she sees some people she wants to meet. Emily is house-broken, but does have an occasional interest in the trash can, so leaving her unsupervised can be risky without some additional training. We are working on crate training currently, and the biggest obstacle there is simply her missing her people. She sleeps in the bedroom in a dog bed at night, but would be more than happy to snuggle up to you in bed or on the couch if given the chance. For a family that has someone at home through most of the day, Emily would make a perfect addition. What few issues she has would likely be worked out with a few weeks of established trust that you’re coming back home every time. We hope you’ll consider this sweetheart as the next member of your family! Medical Notes: Spayed Vaccinated Microchipped Heartworm Negative ProHeart 12 Injection Maintained on monthly flea/tick meds Gave birth to 9 puppies on 8/1/26 APPLY HERE Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 15, 2026, 6:02 pm

Story
I got Charly from a previous owner who surrendered her because she was expecting another child. Charly is shy. She will find a spot and spend her time there. She eats after her outing in the morning and another cup near bedtime. She gets bedtime treats at night when I retire. She sleeps next to my bed on an orthopedic cushion. She is not a picky eater. Has never growled or bitten anyone. I cannot care for her due to health reasons. She has never gotten used to being loved on. I don’t know how the previous owner raised her.
