COURTESY LISTINGThis dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for REECES. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply. Meet Reeses, a goofy, lovable Goldendoodle with a heart of gold and a personality that will melt you faster than his namesake candy. Turning two in June, this curly-coated sweetheart is the perfect mix of fun, loyalty, and well-mannered charm. Weighing in at 52 pounds, he’s as handsome as he is well-behaved. Reeses is the kind of dog who just wants to be near his people. He's incredibly loyal and eager to please, happily following commands like sit, stay, heel, place, and even “off.” He went through an intense four-week training program and is not only potty trained but also accustomed to using an underground fencing system. He’s crate trained, too, and never complains about settling in for a nap or a good night’s sleep. He’s truly a good boy in every way. His expressive puppy-dog eyes and the way his tongue lolls out when he’s happy make him irresistibly sweet—and those little moments will steal your heart every single day. He’s playful and full of life, especially when it comes to his favorite toys. Reeses is a serious chewer, so he’ll need tough toys to keep him busy and happy. He loves a good game of fetch, but even more, he loves just being with his people. Reeses is still a young pup at heart and can be a little shy around new or unfamiliar things. Rather than act out, he tends to quietly shut down in new situations, looking to his person for reassurance. With patience, love, and a calm, confident guide, he adjusts well and blossoms into the silly, affectionate pup he truly is. He’s never lived without another dog so he would do best in a home where he isn’t left alone for long periods. Another dog buddy or a human who works from home or spends a lot of time around the house would be perfect. He’s grown up on a farm and is used to all kinds of animals and wildlife. Reeses will bark to alert you of something unfamiliar, but with reassurance, he quickly calms down. He walks well on a leash, is trained with a collar, and absolutely loves car rides—whether it’s a quick trip into town or a two-hour cruise. With his soft apricot curls and adorable liver-colored nose, Reeses is as striking as he is sweet. He will need consistent grooming to keep his tight curls from getting matted. He’s looking for a family who will love him fiercely, include him in their daily lives, and appreciate all the joy he brings. If you're looking for a devoted, gentle companion who’s equal parts cuddly and goofy, Reeses just might be your perfect match. Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. April 10, 2025, 4:37 pm
