So stop me if you have heard this one...... I was walking down the road, minding my own business when BAM! I was hit by a car!!! You haven't heard this one yet??? Well, sit back and relax and let me tell you my story of despair and hard work and now, REDEMPTION!!! Yes, I was literally minding my own business- I was searching for food, water and maybe some love in the mean streets... The car accident actually SAVED my life and now I am in my foster home and it is SO AWESOME!!! BUT, I have a forever home out there looking for a hard working, happy and SWEET fuzzy (a little gray)face and I am going to find you! I am such a good girl, smart and sweet and huggable. I have been through alot of recovery and am getting around great (see I was partially paralyzed for a month or two after the accident) but with the knowledge and love of my foster family I WALK again! I am pretty independent now and ready for the COUCH of my dreams! Look at my video and see how far I have come. I am great with other dogs, all people and for my safety sake would LOVE a KID OF MY OWN!! I actually am AMAZING WITH SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS :) I just seem to have a special connection with the special kids and sure hope to find one to be my bestest friend!! In return for your family and love I will give you my WHOLE life of love and happiness. I mean, look into my gorgeous soulful eyes and ADOPT ME!!! My foster mom can tell you all about who I am and you can decide to adopt me! ***This dog has a special need from her family. Please identify how you will continue her special care when you adopt her- Noel has bilateral hip dysplasia as well as weakness in her back end. She gets around very well, but needs monitoring and a quiet home. She takes joint supplements daily for life and anti inflammatory meds.**** Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area. Temporary $50 fuel fee will be applied)

     Adoption donation TBD Age: 11 weeks as of 4/17/2024 weight 13 lbs        John Boy is a sweet all white puppy whose mother is a rat terrier of about 27 pounds and whose dad we believe was a small golden receiver/white lab. John Boy’s mom showed up as a stray to a home in rural Mississippi house and gave birth a couple of days later. Wags took in the family of eight, taking care of them, giving the puppies their shots, and is now helping them find loving homes.  John Boy is a bit timid at first, but once he warms up, he is all wiggles and kisses! He spent his early months romping and playing with his siblings and snuggling into a big puppy pile to nap. He is coming to the northeast on Saturday, April 20. John Boy will be neutered in the northeast when he is older, his neuter is included in his adoption fee at one of the clinics Wags uses or the rescue will reimburse adopters what we pay if you choose to use your own vet.    John boy  loves to play with the other dogs in the home and ignores  the cat. He rides well in the car and is loving and a cuddle bug. His sister Jazzy is smaller and more wire haired, John boy is bigger and has a more smooth coat.   John Boy and his siblings are coming from Mississippi to the northeast on Saturday, April 13. Wags is a struggling 501 C3 in rural Mississippi where one woman cares for 150 stray and abandoned dogs, many of whom are older or have medical issuesand require expensive vet care.
