Story
Bentley is a sweet, loving, and playful 7-year-old Goldendoodle. We adopted him at around 6 months old after his previous family could no longer keep him. He is very affectionate with the people he trusts and loves playing with our family’s smaller dogs.Over the years, Bentley has developed significant anxiety, especially with grooming, vet visits, and travel. We groom him at home, and he requires medication and a muzzle during vet visits to help reduce stress and keep everyone safe. While he has never shown aggression toward our children, his anxious behavior can sometimes be intimidating.Rehoming him is an incredibly difficult decision, made primarily because our autistic daughter has become fearful of his anxiety-related behaviors. We believe Bentley would do best in a calm, patient home with someone experienced with anxious dogs who can give him the stability and understanding he needs. He has so much love and companionship to offer the right person.
