We run a small rescue from home and Charley is ready for permanence. Charley is a 3yr old golden doodle. She is the perfect "family" dog. She loves to play like a child, snuggle up to mom for quiet time, or accompany dad on runs/walks. She does it all. She is house broken, kennel trained, and knows basic commands. She is gentle and eager to please. Charley loves attention and she can be a little needy if ignored. That's her only flaw. She likes to be involved. She loves to communicate. Charley is ready for any adventure her forever people are taking. She is the most loving dog. She's so goofy playing with her stuffies and sometimes clumsy because she's wagging that tail so hard. Just a big baby. She is smart like a poodle with the heart of a golden retriever. Charley had a home once, but unfortunately they had to let her go due to family circumstances. ***** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NOW***** Intact male ~2.5 yrs old 40 pounds Vaccines given 8-15-26 No microchip ALT ID# 8-15-26 12 8-18-26: turned in by owner, has bite history (once), needs trained as dog has high energy and has not been shown how to distibute that energy. Walks on the leash. Can be mouthy when he does not like something. He would probably bite if he was pushed too far. He does take correction and engage in listening but he is very anxious. Needs experienced poodle handler. Teddi also needs regular grooming needs for his coat type. *****Animals are eligible for adoption by the public after their stray hold period. Rescues are permitted to pull NOW; animal is also legally available for euthanasia on this same date. AVAS will continue to follow the protocols in place for the health/safety of the animals in our care. The canine population currently in our care that are not showing symptoms will be posted on our website for public viewing. Canines will continue to be monitored by our medical staff under the direction of our supervising Veterinarian. Male Maltipoo bornJuly 4th 2024Mom & Dad are also Maltipoo's.This fella loves routine and consistency.Indoor dog , would love a space to run & play in a yard tossing the ball or playing with others.Independent, however cuddling along side you on the bed or sofa watching TV with you , he definitely enjoys doing that.He has a couple of toys he'll bring to you to play fetch with.When he's done he keeps the toy to himself.Being that he's very smart & easy going it would not be difficult at all for Braxton to adapt to new surroundings , new home , new rules with his new family.He doesnt share very often, looks forward to treats and a tastee bowl of food. Carrots Broccoli Chicken and Blue Buffalo is his main menu. Apples too.What's his is his and what's yours is his also.Loves Affectionate obedient playful cuddle buddy., thats Braxton.He hasn't adapted to riding in a car and the issue hasn't been forced upon him. Im thinking with more drive time and a car seat he'll be okay with it.
