He is a good dog, but too big and strong for me to walk him and he needs to be walked daily. He loves other dogs! I got him when he was 5 months old and I would be very surprised if he had been abused, but he is very skiddish around other people, esp. adults. I really believe that the best possible home would be with someone who had another dog. He is pure bred and really needs a good home!

Story
Lucky is a happy energetic 6 year old golden-doodle. He loves to be around his people! December 2024 he turns 7 years old. At his latest vet check up he was just under 85 pounds. Lucky came from a breeder is St Anthony, ID. His mom is a goldendoodle and his dad is a standard poodle. Lucky is a big dog and needs someone with the strength to care for him (the reason we have to find him a new home is because as his main caregiver I can no longer physically care for him due to my health). He is a gentle giant with plenty of energy. He loves to be with people but is ok to spend time alone. Lucky is crate trained and house trained. He is an intact male. He has fathered a liter of puppies. Lucky doesn’t shed more than a person would. His coat is more poodle than golden retriever. Lucky needs grooming and combing of his curly coat regularly. We’d love for him to find a family who is ready to take him on for the remainder of his journey.
