Story
Willow is house broken and also uses a wireless collar to go outside since we live out in the country. Willow loves to play ball. Willow in the last 2 years has gotten protective of me and barks and growls at my husband, then wags her tail. She also barks and growls at my sons, but not my daughter. I bought Willow from a breeder in the fall of 2023. She always follows me around where ever I am. Willow seems to be a bully when barking at my husband, because she will also wag her tail. I took Willow last year to a trainer, but that has not helped the barking at men. Willow is very loyal to me and women. Willow would make a female person very happy. No matter what he tries to do with her, she still growls when she comes between me and my husband.

Story
UPDATE! Howie is thought to be a goldendoodle/bernadoodle mix. We have come to the conclusion that Howie has a little sight impairment close up, but he can see. He is a playful little bundle of fury puppy. He is as sweet as can be and cuddly. He goes up and down the stairs and at night he uses the doggy door to go poop outside. We think he would do best with another playful dog or some older children to keep him entertained. Right now we keep a belly band on him because he has excitement and scare pee that he can't control which should go away with age. He doesn't try to take the belly band off and it is very easy to put on (well his wiggly body makes it a little harder). He is a happy puppy about 14 weeks old and around 23 pounds. We are guessing he will get between 50 to 70 pounds. He is a dog that wants to be where his people are, even if that means behind the shower curtain bathing. We would rather him not be crated a lot and are sure he doesn't want to be crated a lot either. Howie is given bully sticks and some peanut butter on a lick mat and that satisfies him. If you are looking for a best friend Howie is the pup for you. His adoption fee is $300 and that includes his neuter, microchip with registration, age appropriate vaccines, and monthly preventatives. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog Howie has been in 2 foster homes with his siblings and for 8 days neither foster mom noticed Howie struggling to see. He navigates 95% of the time like the other pups. The vet has diagnosed him as being blind. If we had not witnessed him running into a tree while playing we wouldn't believe it. He acts awnry like the others running in and out of the doggy door and jumping on us while trying to escape out the gate as we slip thru it. He stays on the trails and with the other dogs while in the woods. Howie is as cute as can be and should adjust to a new home just fine. Howie is black with some brown on him and has curly hair like a doodle. At 23 pounds and 14 weeks old we are guessing he will get around 65 to 80 lbs. If you are possibly thinking about putting in a application for Howie we suggest researching the pros and cons of a dog with no vision and see if you can commit to making the necessary adjustments for him.  Howie's adoption fee is $300 which cover his neuter, microchip with registration, vaccines and flea & heartworm prevention. Story
Xena is beautiful, smart, energetic, and full of love. Our family adores her but she and our elderly dog do not get along. She would be better served in a home with no other dogs or someone willing to undergo some behavioral training. She is crate trained, house trained, and very receptive to additional training.
