Story
Hi, I'm Goldie. I know I'm black, but don't let that fool you. I am a golden doodle - a mix of a golden retreiver and a poodle. And, I have the sweet personality and smarts to prove it. I'll be the best dog of a lifetime for the lucky person who adopts me. I just weaned my 9 puppies and I'm still young myself. So, I'm ready to be moving on. I'm scheduled to be spayed on Friday, August 14. I can be pre-adopted or go into foster-to-adopt in the meantime. If you're interested in adopting me, please fill out an application at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt. You can also reserve an appointment to meet me. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have visits scheduled, so appointments help ensure I’ll be available. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, and we welcome adopters from any state. We have access to a transport to Aurora, CO. Other outofstate adopters either travel to Missouri or arrange & pay for air transport. Virtual meetandgreets are available on the appointment request. ##2780676##

Story
We are looking to re-home our sweet Baylor Butts. He’s such a good boy! He’s potty trained, kennel trained, up to date on all of his shots, micro chipped, and neutered. He just turned 3 on March 23rd. He’s part golden doodle, part black lab. Weighs about 55-60lbs. He loves giving hugs, cuddling, and giving sweet kisses. He gets along great with other dogs, but when we got him, we also got a sibling from his litter. And there is some massive sibling rivalry. They will get aggressive with each other and not pay much attention to anyone else while together. But we have no issues when they are one on one or with our other dog. We have tried different methods of training through out the years, but nothing has seemed to help. We just want to find him a loving caring home!
