Story
Sweet Sonny boy’s original owner passed away before making his way to the Oregon Humane Society with his litter mate sister. He was sadly adopted out without her—and unbeknownst to his new owners, with kennel cough and an ear infection. The lazy pup they thought they adopted soon became anxious and high energy—not at all what they anticipated. They worked hard to rehome him, but unfortunately ended up with someone unwilling to be the person he needed. Along came us, his current foster family.We had been following Sonny’s story and knew he needed somewhere to re-gain his confidence and comfort. His anxious tendencies weren’t anything some boundaries and training couldn’t tackle. Sonny needs another dog—NO cats (loves to chase!), a prong collar, praise, and daily walks to stay content! (And a good garbage can and no counter food! He will counter surf and rummage if given the opportunity)Sonny is loving, loyal, SO snuggly, and sweet as can be! He is GREAT with kids and rarely barks.
