Story
Meet Cupid (a.k.a. Hank) — Your Energizer Lovebug! Male • Mini Goldendoodle • 3-4 months old
Cupid—affectionately called Hank in his foster home—is a sweet, anxious, super-energetic little doodle boy looking for the perfect family to help him thrive. After being surrendered from a breeder, he has spent his days getting spoiled and learning what love feels like. He has the softest heart, the cutest curly coat, and a whole lot of puppy enthusiasm wrapped into one irresistible package.
What Cupid Loves
Cuddles when he’s calm (he’s a great snuggler once he settles)
Toys
Freeze-dried chicken treats
Exploring outside (though… he does try to eat every acorn he finds )
Being with his person — at all times!
A cozy crate at night
Leash walks (he does well!)
Personality
Cupid is VERY energetic and still figuring out how to regulate those big puppy feelings. He can be playful but gets overstimulated easily. He prefers when he humans are home but could also do well with another friendly pup, and he truly needs someone who can give him lots of attention, structure, and reassurance.
He has a sweet heart and wants to do the right thing—he’s just still learning how. He is still learning puppy manners such as not nipping like puppies like to do, along with settling down unless he’s very tired. His foster believes he’ll blossom with someone who can spend consistent time working with him.

Unknowns
Dogs - he doesn't have a dog in his foster home, but he's a puppy, then generally love everyone.
Cats - unsure
Kids - since he is small, definitely a home where kids are respectful
What Cupid Needs
Cupid’s ideal home is one filled with patience, love, structure, and lots of activity. He’ll do best with someone home most of the day who can dedicate time to training, exercise, and confidence-building. A fenced yard (NOT wooded—he’s an acorn connoisseur ) would be wonderful for him to safely burn energy.
He may enjoy another dog in the home or he may be able to be your one and only. What’s certain is that he wants to be someone’s shadow and loyal sidekick.
A Note From His Foster
“Hank can be very lovable. He wants to be with someone at all times. I’m not sure what he’s been through, but I know he will be a wonderful puppy for someone active and on the go. Like any puppy keeping him engaged and stimulated is key. He loves to snuggle—I'll miss that the most. It has been an honor to foster him, and I admit I have the blues giving him up, but I know this is what’s best for him… maybe not for me. I hope he finds a forever family who will love him every single day.”He is being fostered in Turnerville, NJA neuter deposit will be required as part of the adoption process. He is up to date on age appropriate vaccines and microchippped. He is available for adoption in NJ and the surrounding area.https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application
