Ralph may be a senior guy estimated to be 10-12 years old (don’t tell him that), but he still struts through the yard like he owns the place! This sweet Velcro pup is 40-50 pounds, loves being outside, soaking up head scratches, riding in the car, and stopping for an ice cream date with his favorite humans. His orthopedic bed is one of his prized possessions, right up there with spending time beside his people.Ralph does have some age related quirks. His hearing and eyesight aren’t what they used to be. He has to wear belly bands due to accidents and he may occasionally lose his balance, but he still enjoys life to the fullest. Since he only has a few teeth left, he’ll need soft food and treats (which honestly just means extra spoiled). His mouth will also need a recheck in about a year.Around other animals, Ralph is dog and cat friendly! Ralph can get a little grumbly over food and treats, but he has never acted on it. Story
I adopted Oscar in March 2023 from Save A Shepherd rescue. He was 9 months old when I got him, and he had been in a prison training program so had a good start on basic manners. He is quite an energetic dog, and I have learned in the past several months that he doesn't like other dogs. He does, however, love kids and people. He's very sweet, loyal and energetic. I live in town and don't have a fenced in yard. I feel bad that he is not getting the exercise and playing that he needs, especially because I'm not confident to take him where other dogs may be. I would love to see him with a young man who would be strong and able to care well for him.

Story
Oscar is a sweet, comical and energetic young man who is loyal and loves kids. I acquired him from a rescue shelter when he was 9 months old after he had been in a prison training program where he learned basic manners and some tricks. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide him with the attention he needs and deserves. He's basically well behaved; I'm a bit older and simply don't have energy for him. I've also become busy with grandkids and a part-time job. The only problem with Oscar is that he doesn't seem to like other dogs and actually attacked my neighbor's dog once 2 years ago, which broke my heart. He didn't do any damage and maybe was just playing rough, but I'm really not sure No matter what, he's a sweet boy and is a lot of fun.
