🐾 Meet Lark: Professionally Adorable, Occasionally Questionable 🐾
Lark is a 2-month-old male Goldendoodle with fluffy curls, a sweet personality, and absolutely zero respect for your personal space. 😂💙
This lovable little shadow wants to be wherever you are. Going to the kitchen? Lark is coming. Going to the bathroom? Lark has apparently been assigned to supervise. Trying to leave the room without him noticing? Good luck.
Lark is already doing fantastic with potty training and even uses a doggy door, which proves he is a very smart puppy! However, that intelligence seems to come and go. One minute he’s impressing you with how quickly he learns, and the next minute he’s trying to eat a shoe, rug, blanket, or some other completely inappropriate household object. 🤦♀️
And the crate?
⭐ Zero stars.
⭐ Would not recommend.
⭐ Lark would like to speak to management.
He currently hates being crated and will cry to make sure everyone within hearing distance is fully aware of his displeasure. His future family will need to continue patiently working with him on crate training and understand that he is still very much a baby learning how to be a dog.
On the bright side, storms and fireworks don’t seem to bother this brave little guy! Lark is sweet, affectionate, lovable, funny, and happiest when he’s right beside his people.
⚠️ NOW FOR THE IMPORTANT PART: THE REALITY OF ADOPTING A DOODLE ⚠️
Lark’s adorable fluffy coat is not maintenance-free. Goldendoodles require professional grooming throughout their entire lives, and potential adopters need to consider that ongoing expense before applying.
Depending on how long and fluffy his coat is kept, Lark may need professional grooming approximately every 1–3 weeks for a longer, fluffier coat or every 6–8 weeks when kept shorter. Grooming costs increase as dogs grow, and a full-grown doodle around 60 pounds may start around $85–$95 per grooming appointment in the Wichita Falls area.
That means adopting Lark is a commitment to regular brushing, coat maintenance, and professional grooming for the rest of his life. Skipping proper grooming can lead to painful matting and skin problems.
We want Lark’s future family to love the adult dog—and all the care and expenses that come with him—just as much as they love this adorable fluffy puppy. 💙
🐶 LARK’S ADOPTION DETAILS 🐶
Lark is adoptable through Texas Pit Crew. His $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, and age-appropriate shots.
Because Lark is not yet old enough to be neutered, there is also a $75 refundable neuter deposit, which will be returned after he is neutered as required.
⚠️ Remember before adopting, puppies grow up and still need to be cared for as they grow. Raising a puppy is a BIG responsibility!
If you’re prepared for puppy mischief, regular grooming expenses, a four-legged bathroom supervisor, and a lifetime of unconditional love, Lark might just be your perfect match! 🐾💙
