I’m Van Gough, aka Veegee or Vigo. I ended up at a CA shelter when I was 5 months old and the kennel mate I was with wasn’t very nice. I was beat up and lost a piece of my ear!!! That’s how I got the name Van Gough. The nice people at Boomer’s Place heard my story and worked some magic to get me out of the shelter and get my ear treated. I might be missing a little bit of my ear but it doesn’t affect my cuteness at all. I love people and all of the dogs at Boomer’s Place. I’m getting neutered soon so I will be ready for a furever home. I’m sweet, ooey gooey sweet. I love to snuggle and despite my age I’m pretty chill. I am house broken and use the doggie door like a champ. I don’t know what I am but everyone says I look like a Great Dane with some boxer characteristics. What is known is that I am adorable. I’d love to meet you and maybe move in….

Hi I’m Magnus! I was surrendered to a shelter in California and didn’t understand what was happening. Where did my people go? I was so worried I didn’t know what to do. Then a nice person took me out of that loud, lonely shelter and I was brought to Boomer’s Place. It was better than the shelter but it took me a few days to realize I was safe, loved and wanted. They brought me to the doctor and I was such a good boy. I found out I might have allergies and they treated me for fleas…. I got medicine and feel so good now. I’m ready to find a new home, I just want a family again because I love people, really love people. I am the extreme Velcro Dane. You can’t love on me enough. I prefer a calm environment and love my raised bed and comforter. Wanna watch TV and pat me all day, I am your boy.

They were already scheduled for euthanasia. They were emaciated, filthy, and scared beyond belief. Since being with us he has been groomed, is steadily gaining weight and becoming quite confident and social. Breed DNA testing is in process... stay tuned for the results!
