He is timid around unfamiliar people and dogs and needs patience while adjusting. He typically barks and keeps his distance from strangers, sometimes staying behind someone he trusts. If approached before he's ready, he may stand his ground, bark, or growl defensively. He needs people who respect his space and allow him to approach on his own terms. Adjustment expectations: • First few days: May be nervous, reserved, and bark at unfamiliar people. • First 2–3 weeks: May begin building trust and showing affection. • First 1–3 months or longer: With patience and consistency, his loving, playful personality can emerge. An experienced large-breed owner and calm home would be ideal. Re-homing due to household allergies, not his behavior. We want a patient, permanent home where he can thrive. ❤️
