Elijah is a great Dane mix who brings smiles to everyone he meets. Him and his two brothers (Julian and Quinton) were strays from Gas City. When they first arrived, they were afraid of their own shadow, but now they have blossomed into the silliest and goofiest boys. Elijah loves other dogs and has made multiple friends here. He also loves kids of all ages as well; he can be a little shy when first meeting new people. It doesn`t take him long to open up especially when treats are involved. We believe he is housebroken and walks well on a leash. To say Elijah loves water is an understatement, he`s so obsessed with the hose that you can often catch him catching the water droplets as you spray him. He would be a great protector because when you first hear his bark its deep and intimidating. And then he comes over all butt wiggles and kisses once he realizes who you are. He loves playing tug-of-war with his friends; stuffed animals don`t stand a chance, though, because they explode around him. Elijah`s adoption fee is $100 which includes his neuter, up to date on shots, deworming, flea treatment, bath, nail trim, and a microchip.

Kevin is a Great Dane mix who was brought in as a stray by the city of Iola. He`s great with everything, but kids are by far his favorite, maybe even more than treats. He is good with cats, but he is playful so if your cat doesn`t tolerate playfulness, Kevin isn`t your guy. He`s so goofy; his smile can brighten anyone`s day. He walks well on a leash and is partially house-trained. He does however love splashing in puddles, especially muddy ones, and he enjoys splashing his friends with the pool water. If you`re wondering if he`s hungry, he has a special way of telling you: He`ll take his food bowl and bang it on the door as if to say, `I`m next.` This wonderful pup is looking for his next adventure with a new best friend!!

Hello everyone. My name is Casanova and I am a male Great Dane and mastiff mix of pure love. The hoomans here tell me that I am 4 years 5 months old. I think they like me a lot because they call me Cass and because I try so hard. Even though I’m deaf and I can’t hear their voices, I watch their eyes and faces and understand what they say. I love to play and would do well with someone with a yard or who likes to go on walks in the mornings or evenings, I will need some training on my manners in a new home, since I have been here for 4 years and will need to learn the ropes at my new place. My hoomans say I need someone with love and patience in their heart. I need someone who doesn’t believe a life should be thrown away just because it’s got some dents and scratches here and there. I can still nuzzle you, lick your hand, and wag my tail when you get home and sleep next to your living room chair. I’ve had all my shots and am neutered and ready to go. Fill out an application, come visit with me and let’s go to my forever home together. I promise that I will love you for the rest of my life. LOVE CASSANOVA
