Meet Gallan!
Gallan is a handsome 3-year-old Great Dane mix with a heart as big as his smile. Adopted from us as a puppy, he recently found himself back in our care through no fault of his own when a family member developed allergies.
This sweet boy is looking for a family to call his forever home once again. Gallan loves spending time with his people and is happiest when he's relaxing nearby, enjoying the simple things in life. Whether that's lounging on the couch, hanging out in the yard, or just being part of your daily routine, he's content as long as he's with the people he loves.
Gallan is both house-trained and crate-trained, making the transition into his new home that much easier. While he does have Great Dane in his background, he's not quite Great Dane-sized. He's still a big boy, but a more manageable version of the breed mix many people love.
Gallan would prefer to be the only dog in the home so he can soak up all the attention for himself. He has never been around young children, and we are unsure how he would do with cats. Because of this, a home with older children or adults would likely be the best fit.
If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to share life's quiet moments with you, Gallan may be your perfect match. He's a wonderful dog with so much love left to give and is hoping his second chance at a forever family is just around the corner.
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and on monthly preventatives. Adoption fee applies.
We only place dogs in homes that meet THEIR needs. Please remember that bringing a dog into your family is a lifetime commitment. Dogs thrive when given patience, structure, training, and unconditional love. We carefully review all applications to ensure each dog is matched with the home that is best suited for them. Please note:
We cannot guarantee breed or breed mix, as our information is often limited to what is observed or shared by a previous owner.
Changes in environment may also affect behavior—so while we do our best to assess each dog, we cannot guarantee personality traits, temperament, or preferences.
All of our dogs are fully vetted, including:
• Spay or neuter
• Age-appropriate vaccinations
• Rabies vaccination
• Microchipping
• Heartworm and Lyme testing
• Deworming
• Flea and tick treatment
• Heartworm prevention
• Any other necessary medical care
Foster-to-adopt means the dog will live with you while completing any remaining veterinary care. Once completed, the adoption is finalized.
Each adoption includes a 6-week group obedience class (a $125 value).
If adopting a puppy under 6 months of age, we cover the cost of spay/neuter at the appropriate time.
Paws-in-Prison dogs are not available for adoption until they complete their training program. However, you may apply in advance to reserve your highly trained companion.
