I have mastered the “sit” command and I know how to use a doggy door or go to the door to ask to go out to potty. I am quiet and gentle with people and kids. I love other dogs and I am respectful of cats. I travel quietly in a car. I'm a cuddle bug but I respect my humans personal space. I love outdoors and playing with my dog friends. 💕. I'm still learning my manners on the leash, but with a little patience and guidance, I'll be your perfect companion. My adoption fee is $200, and I'm ready for my forever home. He loves to play and go on walks. He is a big dog, but he is very kindhearted and good around people and other animals. Hello Hoomans: My name is Georgia and I am a female Great Dane-Mastiff mix, a gentle giant with an equally gentle heart. I am brindle and white in color, 98 lbs. of playful love, with some just plain goofiness thrown in for good measure. Since I was found as a stray on the streets, the nice people at Golden Paws Animal Rescue are not certain how old I am, but we believe about 5 or 6 years. I love to go for long walks and am very good on a leash. Short strolls are fine too. I love meeting people and I am very well mannered. I can even sit on command, and with your training and patience, I can learn a lot of new tricks as well. I am somewhat vocal, so I’m not afraid of sharing my thoughts with you. I get along fine with cats, but I don’t know any dogs one on one. If you already have a dog, maybe you could bring him or her with you when you and I have our meet and greet. I just want a home with a person who is into big, goofy dogs who I can make smile every day. So, if you are tired of going into the back yard, throwing a ball and having to get it yourself (you know, solo catch), put me in coach. I’ve been spayed and have had all my shots, so I’m ready to go. So, what do you say? If you are looking for a super loyal gal who is fun to play catch with, fill out an application and come on down to Golden Paws Animal Rescue in Joplin for a visit.
