Meet Dottie – All Dressed Up With Nowhere to Go!
Well, folks, it seems there's a bit of a dating crisis happening at the Moose Jaw Humane Society, and poor Dottie is right in the middle of it!
Our sweet girl Dottie has been waiting an entire month for her happily-ever-after, and she's starting to wonder if she's ever going to get that first date!
You see, Dottie and her sister Marge have had plenty of people express interest in meeting them. Potential adopters make plans to come visit, get to know both girls, and see which one might be their perfect match.
Sounds promising, right?
Except their dates keep cancelling!
Dottie gets herself all excited, practices her best puppy-dog eyes, puts on her biggest smile, and waits for someone to come sweep her off her paws.
And then... nothing.
Honestly, a girl could develop a complex!
But don't worry, Dottie isn't letting a few failed first dates dampen her spirits. At just 7 months old, she's got far too much living to do!
This beautiful girl is a happy, bouncy bundle of puppy enthusiasm who believes every day should include a little adventure, a good game of tug, a nice long walk, and plenty of snuggles. She's got energy to spare, love to give, and absolutely no idea why someone hasn't fallen head over heels for her yet!
Dottie is looking for a family who understands that puppies are a wonderful combination of fun, chaos, cuddles, and commitment. She's going to be a bigger girl, so she'll need a family ready to help her grow into the amazing adult dog we know she can be.
On the advice of our veterinarian, Dottie's spay surgery will be delayed until she is approximately 1½ years old to allow her time to grow and develop.
Dottie's adoption fee is $400, which includes a $100 spay deposit. She is started on her vaccination schedule and microchipped.
