Story
Jacs is a Great Dane/Husky mix with a goofy personality who is looking for a home that can get him outside everyday and let him snuggle you on the couch every night. He is a medium energy dog (mostly because he is almost 7) and is the most content being out in nature on walks & hikes. He enjoys playing tug with rope toy or playing/chewing on sticks, being in the water, occasionally and absolutely LOVES the snow. His ideal family would probably be one where he is the only dog or with female dogs, that has no kids or older kids (10+), no cats, and are avid outdoors people. He can do all the basic commands (sit, stay, shake, come, lay down, down). He has pretty decent recall, but is trained to a beep collar for extra communication. A few of his weaknesses are not trained to a leash, he's a bit stubborn, not super socialized so can be a little too forward with other dogs, and he has a sensitive stomach. He will come with a crate, his bed, bowls, a couple of toys, and food (if requested).

Meet Shiloh! Shiloh is a gentle soul with a big heart and big paws. This handsome Great Dane mix came to us as an unclaimed impound. We don't know his history, but we know it's been a lot for him.When he first arrived, Shiloh was incredibly shut down. Shiloh is gentle-spirited, and he’s making wonderful progress every day. Once he knows he’s safe, he’s affectionate, loyal, and eager to connect. He’s looking for a calm, gentle home with someone who understands that trust is earned, and is willing to give him the time and reassurance he needs to fully open up. He's very smart and eager to please; a little praise goes a long way with Shiloh! He soaks it right up! This poor guy lost his whole world, whether it was a good one or not. We're glad he's with us now, where safety and love will lead the way for every new chapter of life!If you’re a calm, kind-hearted human with a soft spot for the shy ones, Shiloh may be your perfect match!
