Lucy may be shy when you first meet her, but just a few gentle pets and some encouraging words are all it takes for her to trust and open up. She delights in leisurely sniffy walks, walks beautifully on leash with a slight pull, and comes to you when you call her name. Treats are her love language- she knows how to sit, waits patiently, and always takes rewards with the softest touch.This sweet soul has been through a lot. She was adopted and returned twice through no fault of her own. What Lucy truly needs is someone who understands that every dog blooms in their own time and deserves unwavering love. She will return your patience with devoted affection, endless tail wags, and quiet moments of companionship.Give Lucy the forever home she so deeply deserves. A big beautiful boy. He is friendly with people and enjoys playing with toys. He is a strong puller on leash and has been fitted with an EZ walk harness. He previously lived with another large dog. He does chase after livestock and small animals. If you have a large dog who is looking for a friend, bring it to the shelter for a meet and greet to see if they are a match. Due to his size and playful jumping, he would probably be more successful in a home without small children.
