Story
Bandit is a sweet senior who wants nothing more than your love. He is the perfect combination of sweet and shy that makes your heart melt. While his pictures make him look big, he is actually a pocket sized rottweiler mix at about 55 pounds. He loves his trusted humans unconditionally and wants to shadow you whenever he can. Bandit is guaranteed to add lots of love, kisses and cuddles to your life. Where there is warmth you will find Bandit; warmth from the sun, from a heater, from a fur friend or from a human. He sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog and will plop himself on your lap for a nap, taking comfort in being with his human. Check out Bandit's video playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVb0fq1O6CwlJxEafkJcZ23qSb8i_8EPM He loves to play with his foster sister and sometimes looks quite goofy, which just adds to his charming personality. He is crate-trained, fully house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is highly treat motivated and is learning in foster care to do things like sit, lay down, stay, be a gentleman, and wait. Bandit has lived with small dogs, dogs his size, adult men, and adult women and has done well with all. He does take a moment to warm up to new people, sounds, and places. Bandit has a few health issues going on that sometimes impact his behavior. He has hip dysplasia, hyperthyroidism, arthritis, and early stage kidney disease. While 99% of the time Bandit is an absolute sweetheart, if any of his medication is off, if he overdoes his physical exercise, or if he is feeling anxious he may growl or snap. Because of this, Bandit should only be adopted by an experienced dog handler. Bandit is currently on thyro-tabs, joint supplements, and anti-anxiety medication. The cost of all of his medication is less than $100 per month. Bandit deserves his forever family. Brutus is a big puppy that has a ton of love to give! He loves everyone he meets and is a great cuddle buddy. In the morning he will wake you up with kisses and loves riding in the car. He will even look over your shoulder to make sure you’re following the law. Brutus is good on leash and knows some commands like sit, down, and shake. He is working on not jumping when he’s super excited and meeting new people. Brutus does well with other dogs and he’s good around kids, just exercise caution. He hasn’t met cats but is suspected to do fine and he is working on his house training. Brutus is neutered, up to date on vaccine, and chipped. All Better World Rescue dogs come with complimentary group or private training to ensure a successful adoption. Story
Bellmi is a beautiful blend of brains, loyalty, and playful sparkle. This sweet girl had a confusing start in life. She was gifted as a puppy and later abandoned when her owner could no longer keep her. While that sudden change made her understandably shy and skittish at first, Bellmi has shown just how resilient and loving she truly is. She may need a little time to warm up to new people, but once she feels safe, her affectionate and gentle nature blossoms. With patience and kindness, Bellmi becomes a devoted companion who enjoys closeness, playtime, and quiet bonding moments. She did snap once when she was freshly abandoned and frightened, but with stability and trust, she has warmed up beautifully to everyone around her. Bellmi is smart and eager to learn. She already knows several commands including sit, sit up, and beg. She’s playful without being overwhelming, with a moderate energy level that makes her a great match for a home that enjoys daily walks, enrichment, and interactive play. Rope toys and squeaky toys are her absolute favorites. She’s done wonderfully meeting other dogs when introductions are slow and respectful, and she shows a nice balance of gentle play and thoughtful social awareness. Bellmi is also naturally protective, making her attentive and connected to her people once she bonds. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who will reward your patience with deep affection and joyful energy, Bellmi may be your perfect match. She’s ready for a calm, loving home that will let her confidence continue to grow 🌱🐶
