Story
I fostered Honey from a shelter for a few weeks then found out they were scheduling her for euthanasia, so I adopted her to save her life. She’s about 1year & 6mos old and been living with me since June 2026. I’ve put her through formal obedience training (10 weeks) and she learned commands quickly! Due to medical reasons, I’m unable to give her the activity she needs. She deserves better. Honey loves to run and play fetch! She loves playing in water even though she doesn’t care as much for baths. I would describe her as affectionate, sentimental, protective, smart, playful & energetic. She loves playing outside and becomes very attached to people who are caring for her. She’s been in playgroups with other dogs and gets along well with them. She’s a little cautious when meeting a stranger but with my reassurance and their patience, she will accept their affection. The more she’s socialized, she will become less hesitant around strangers. She needs love!
