Story
*Name: Daisy *Age: 1.5 years old  *Current Weight: 45 lbs *Adoption fee: $475 Daisy is nothing short of a little miracle wrapped in fur. Just a few months ago, she was bravely fighting inflammation of her spinal cord that left her unable to walk for nearly 3 months. But with determination, love, and lots of intensive physical therapy, Daisy has made an incredible comeback—regaining almost 100% of her mobility!  She’s already fecal continent and about 70% urine continent, and her team is very optimistic that as her nerves continue to heal, she’ll keep improving every day. And trust us… this girl is motivated to live life to the fullest! Now that she’s feeling better, Daisy’s true personality is shining—and it’s AMAZING. She is absolutely OBSESSED with other dogs. Seriously, if there’s a playgroup, she’s the life of the party and wants in on all the fun! Because of this, a home with another playful, friendly dog is a must for her happiness. With new people, Daisy can be a little shy at first—but give her a little time and patience, and she’ll soon be your playful, affectionate shadow, nudging you to join in on the fun too. She loves her walks and is great on a leash! Daisy would thrive with an active family who will continue to help her build strength and confidence with regular walks, adventures, and maybe even some hikes. It’s not just fun for her—it’s an important part of her continued healing journey. Daisy has been through so much and come out the other side stronger, happier, and ready to love. Now all she needs is a forever home to keep cheering her on To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2252780##

Story
Meet Abby – a sweet, affectionate 4-year-old girl looking for a loving home ❤️ Abby is 4 years old and about 40 lbs—a wonderful medium size. She is an incredibly affectionate, loving, and gentle girl who enjoys being close to her people and has so much love to give. Abby has a family who loves her, but sadly, her owner is facing serious health issues and can no longer provide the care that Abby and her companion, Billie, need. Her owner has reached out to us for help finding them safe, loving homes. This is an incredibly difficult situation for everyone involved, and our biggest priority is making sure Abby and Billie never have to enter a shelter. They deserve to transition from the home and family they know directly into loving homes where they will continue to feel safe, cared for, and cherished. Abby has a beautiful, gentle personality. She is affectionate, loving, and happiest when she can be close to her people. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, devoted dog to become part of their family. At just 4 years old, Abby has so many years of companionship, cuddles, walks, adventures, and happy memories ahead of her. Abby isn’t losing her home because of anything she did. Sometimes circumstances change in ways no one could have anticipated, and her family is doing the most loving thing they can by asking for help before the situation becomes an emergency. We would love to find Abby a committed adopter or foster-to-adopt home so she never has to experience the stress and uncertainty of entering a shelter. Most of all, Abby needs someone who can offer her what she already knows and loves—a safe home, affection, companionship, and the security of knowing she belongs. ❤️ Abby has an opportunity to travel to New York, but she can only make the journey if she has a confirmed adopter or foster-to-adopt home waiting to welcome her. Health & Care: -Spayed -Microchipped -Fully vaccinated -Dewormed -4DX tested -On flea, tick, and heartworm prevention with Simparica Trio If you think Abby could be the missing piece in your family, please fill out an application at sosanimalwelfare.org or email sosanimalwelfare@gmail.com. Please consider opening your heart and home to Abby. Help us make sure this gentle girl can go from one loving home to another without ever having to know the fear and uncertainty of a shelter. ❤️
