Fernando’s journey started in the most heartbreaking way—he was left in a park in Mississippi late one night, but fortunately, he was rescued by one of our amazing Wright-Way Rescue partners. Despite the tough start, Fernando has shown us just how resilient and determined he truly is.Although Fernando may have some hearing challenges—he may be deaf—it doesn’t stop him from being an active, playful, and affectionate boy. His disability doesn’t define him; it only adds to his uniqueness. He’s not letting anything hold him back from living life to the fullest, and he’s hoping to find a family who will help him thrive.This sweet boy is incredibly friendly with both dogs and people, and he’s eager to find that special person who will love him for who he is. Story
Buckley is very adorable and playful. Loves toys and is completely engaged with people. She is very people oriented and a huge cuddler. She has mastered the art of sitting and does it quite frequently. She is solid black, has very special ears, and has an excellent lean. She is a little princess who will worm her way into someone’s heart (that does not have smalls).From her fosters 4/23/25: Buckley is a super sweet, young girl. She is easily able to entertain herself with toys and is just as easily able to nap and lounge around. Buckley listens very well! If she is doing something she shouldn’t be, a simple “no” gets her to stop. She walks so well on a leash, and when she spots a squirrel or rabbit, she will typically just freeze in place and watch, but then moves on easily enough. After romping around in the back yard, she will come inside and patiently sit (and shake!) for a cookie. She eats like a champ and sleeps through the night. Buckley will be very happy in a home with a fenced yard and lots of toys! Available for adoption through Greyhounds Only, Inc., Adoption and Rescue. Sage is a very sweet, quiet and calm girl with seemingly no point to prove. She is decent on leash but dislikes wild turkeys! She has pretty flashy white markings along with her ebony coat. Bobby is a very smart and very beautiful greyhound mix. He is estimated to be about 6 years old. He is shy when he meets a human initially, but then warms up and loves the people he knows, showering them with kisses. He needs a smart owner who will give him a job. We have been working with him daily and he has become decent on leash and he knows some commands. He lived with children in his previous home and with another greyhound mix. The kennel volunteers really adore him but our adopters are not interested in this mixed breed boy. Available for adoption through Greyhounds Only, Inc., Adoption and Rescue. Meet Strider, a well-mannered and playful Greyhound who loves his toys and is a great companion on walks. He responds to his name and walks beautifully on leash, making him a joy to take out and about. Strider is a calm traveler, settling in easily on car trips. While he’s not cat-workable, he did meet Sprout, a Jack Russell, during his assessment and showed a moment of interest, but quickly moved on after a friendly sniff. Strider’s easy-going nature and good behavior make him an ideal companion for someone looking for a friendly, active dog with a calm demeanor.
