Rockafella ( Rocky is the sweetest. He hugs, cuddles and wants to be close to his people. He's 2 years old. He's fun. We play a game where he chases the spray from a water hose ( like a cat with a laser. He'll bark when a stranger approaches, but he's never shown aggression. He is a moderate shedder. He is friendly with other dogs, but a little rough for smaller and older dogs. He gets along with cats, but only if they stand their ground when he wants to play. He escapes through tiny gaps in fences, which is the main reason we can't keep him.

Story
Treasure is looking for a retirement home to spend her remaining life. She’s an 8ish year old Lurcher who has lived a tough life, raising countless puppies in horrendous living conditions. She is shy, but full of personality once she’s comfortable. Treasure does have quite a few cancerous mammary masses that will likely grow but our hope is that they will do so slowly allowing her to have some more time to just be loved. The removal for all of them would be extremely involved and painful, so we have elected to remove the largest ones only. Treasure is so deserving of a relaxing, happy ending and we hope that she gets to have it. Treasure is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, dewormed, microchipped, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $100. Tammy is a great dog. Loves to cuddle, always on a blanket, bed or carpet. Loves being pampered and will obey any order for an instant treat. We have worked hard to settle her anxiety in the past 6 years and she is better now. She is afraid of anything that moves. Wind, water bottles, and loud noises. She cannot get along with other dogs as much I know, unless well trained. My spouse and I are no longer together and cannot take the best care of her. We are also against taking her back to the pound we adopted her 7 years ago. If anyone could please come forward, and adopt this beautiful girl. It would mean the world.

Hi, I'm Bailey. My sister and I were picked up as strays, and now we're looking for a forever home. We're both sweet playful girls who love each other and love to cuddle with our people. We do well with other dogs and kids of all ages. We do like to chase cats if they run, but we're so small we don't really pose a threat. We look to be chihuahua mixes of some kind. We're about a year and a half old. I weigh 13 lbs and Blondie weighs 8. We are crate trained and housebroken as long as we're kept on a schedule. If you're interested in meeting us please fill out an application and my friends with ARPO will be in touch! A home visit will be required so only homes in a 50 mile radius of Indianapolis should apply.
