Zora is happiest spending time with people. She happily approached for pats, enjoyed interacting with everyone she met, and showed herself to be a friendly, affectionate girl who loves companionship. One of her sweetest qualities is her relaxed nature. While a small dog happily raced around with a toy nearby, Zora simply watched without feeling the need to join the excitement. She settled quickly and remained calm throughout her assessment, demonstrating the laid-back temperament that makes greyhounds such wonderful house dogs. She also has excellent manners around food, happily eating her kibble without concern while the assessor and another greyhound were close by. Zora has met both large dogs and a cat. She was social and comfortable with the larger dogs, and while she was a little timid around the cat, her response was gentle rather than reactive. Lady gets along very well with other dogs, including small dogs, and enjoys their company. While she has done wonderfully with dogs of all sizes, we're not yet confident about how she'd do with cats.
