Story
This little peanut's name is Lemur, she is the most adorable, playful, and loving dog around. At 5 years old, she has a mature and calm demeanor but still knows how to have fun! She adores playing with stuffed toys and going for nice strolls to enjoy the outdoors. She has wonderful leash manners and does not pull on lead unless she is particularly excited. Lemur does fantastic with other large dogs, though she can be a bit nervous when meeting new friends. She is a quite a personable dog and loves to meet people and get as much attention as she can. When first she arrived at Fast Friends, she was a little bit hand-shy and nervous with new things and people. With a little bit of gentle encouragement and patience, she has really come out of her shell and loves getting attention and exploring new areas. If you are looking for a well- rounded and lovable companion, Lemur may be the right fir for you! * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Meet Lovey! She really lives up to her name with her loving and spirited personality. She is a beautiful, 2 year old greyhound, and weighs about 60 pounds. With her youthful energy and unwavering excitement for life she is sure to bring a smile to your face! She has good leash manners and does not pull on lead, however sometimes she gets a bit excited and starts bouncing around. Lovey has been doing great when socializing with fellow greyhounds and loves to play. She has not had much experience when socializing with other breeds, her greetings tend to be a bit over-the-top with excitement. But given a bit of guidance and further experience we see potential in her making non-greyhound friends. She is a curious, personable, and enthusiastic girl with so much potential to be the best companion around. Lovey truly is a joy to be around. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Meet Hoppy! As her name implies, this happy girl loves to hop around with excitement. She is a 6 year old retired racing greyhound from Australia and has one of the most charming personalities. She is friendly, affectionate, curious, and playful. Hoppy adores going on her daily walks to explore her surroundings. She has great leash manners and doesn't pull on lead, however due to her curiosity she gets a little side tracked and likes to sniff everything she can!! She does well with other greyhounds, and has shown some improvements in her interactions with other breeds. She is still prone to being a bit too excited when meeting new dogs. Hoppy would not be suited for a home with small dogs. Hoppy would do best in a quiet home environment where she can get enrichment, exercise, and lots of naps. She would thrive in a calm home environment, where she can also enjoy enrichment and exercise. This affectionate and happy girl has so much potential to be a wonderful companion and is sure to bring unending joy to whomever adopts her! * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area. Story
Meet Mozzie! A 4 year old retired racing greyhound from Australia. He is extremely gentle, affectionate, and well-mannered. He truly thrives on affection and is eager to please. Mozzie is overall a very calm and go-with-the-flow dog, He loves to relax, and simply enjoys life on the slow side. He loves going on long, slow walks and keeps pace perfectly with whoever is walking him. Mozzie does have a playful and excited side that he lets shine with a distinctive "helicopter tail" that spins in circles. He absolutely loves to play with stuffies and do the occasional zoomie. He interacts well with other greyhounds but will require more structured socialization with other breeds of dogs. If you are looking for a loving, gentle-souled companion, Mozzie might be the one for you. Littlefoot is a friendly, confident, and quirky 6 year old greyhound. He is a very personable dog who loves to play, eat, and get all the attention he can from people. Littlefoot has good leash manners, though he can be a bit strong on lead when particularly excited. He loves playtime and enjoys when staff toss toys while he tries to catch them. He plays well with other greyhounds but could use some further socialization with other breeds of dogs. Story
Ignatius is a handsome and boisterous 4 year old retired racing greyhound. He is a confident, people-focused, energetic, and curious boy who simply loves to live life. He enjoys walks, playing with toys, and engaging with people. With his goofy and high-drive personality he is prone to being a bit impulsive when excited. Ignatius has been through a behavior training program to improve his interactions with other breeds of dogs. With this training he showed that he has a great ability to learn, with his engagement and food motivated nature. He does well when socializing with fellow greyhounds but could use further experience around other breeds (especially small breeds). Ignatius would be best suited for an adopter with prior dog experience who can continue to give structure, socialization, and further training on the foundations he already has. With a little guidance this handsome boy will make the most wonderful companion bringing so much joy and love to your household. * Fast Friends adopts in the New England area.
