Story
Meet Clancy – The Cheese-Weasel Extraordinaire! Clancy is a happy, goofy boy with a heart of gold and a big personality to match! This lovable pup is always ready to make you smile with his playful antics and sweet, friendly nature. He’d thrive in a moderately active home where he can enjoy hikes, jogs, long walks, or fun enrichment games with his people. Smart and eager to please, Clancy is a quick learner who’s already mastered commands like Sit, Wait, Down, Paw, Leave It, and he walks nicely on leash! He’s very food-motivated and incredibly attentive, making training a breeze. He’s also been on 15-foot leash walks and stuck close to his person—suggesting he may be a great candidate for off-leash adventures with the right training! Clancy is a certified bouncy boy, but don’t worry—he knows how to keep it respectful. He rarely jumps up on people and instead shows his excitement with a few joyful hops next to you. He’s done great with fencing as low as 4 feet and always stays within boundaries. His springy personality even earned him a spot in basic agility training, where he had a blast hopping over hurdles like a pro! Social and well-mannered, Clancy enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well with every pup he’s met. He has a great sense of play and knows when to give other dogs their space—making him a wonderful addition to a multi-dog home. Clancy is a shelter favorite for good reason, but somehow he keeps getting overlooked. This fun-loving, smart, and affectionate boy is more than ready to find his forever family. Could that be you? Call the Ranch today to meet Clancy—you won’t regret it! Read Clancy's Dog of the Week post here:  https://rrdog.org/dw/meet-clancy/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment.
