Waffles came to us skinny and nervous but as time has gone on, Waffles has really come out of his shell. Waffles is becoming outgoing, playful and enjoying affection now. We continue to learn more about Waffles but we know that he’ll open up even more in a home. Due to past behavior we’ve been informed of, we believe Waffles will be happiest as an only dog in the home. No feline friends for him either! Waffles will bring a lot of energy and love into a home, that you’ll have more than enough with just him though. Meet Waffles! Waffles is a fantastic pupper with an endless supply of energy! He is roughly three years old! He’s an incredibly loving, cuddly bundle of joy who absolutely loves spending time with his people. His vaccinations are up to date, he’s microchipped, and I also have bowls and leashes that can go with him if needed. One important thing to know is that Waffles unfortunately does not do well with other dogs or animals, so he would need to be the only pet in his new home. This is an incredibly difficult decision for me, but I’ve unfortunately fallen into financial difficulties and can no longer give Waffles the care, time, and attention he deserves. He means a lot to me, and more than anything, I want to find him a loving home where he can be happy, spoiled, and well cared for. Tig is not fond of other dogs so he needs to be the only pet in the house. He will bond quickly with his special person. He requires a yard and a tall fence.

Though her journey started in a rural shelter where her future looked uncertain, one compassionate vet saw past her neurological quirks and believed in her. He saw not a problem to be fixed, but a beautiful soul who deserved a chance at life—and maybe, even more than that, a real home. He welcomed her into his life, giving her a safe place to rest and heal while he searched for someone who would believe in her the way he did. That belief led Mindi to us—and now, finally, to a warm foster home where she’s experiencing all the things every dog should: soft beds, cozy crates, freedom to stretch her legs, and, most importantly, love. And Mindi? She’s blossoming. She’s incredibly gentle with cats and kind around other dogs, even if she’s still figuring out how to play. Her little wobble makes her movement uniquely hers, and while she might stumble now and then, she keeps going—with courage and grace. Because of this, we think a home with older kids (10+) and one with runners or carpets would be best as she continues building her confidence. Mindi loves yard time, and, like a true Lab, she’s highly food-motivated (meals in her own space help keep her happy and relaxed). She’s a bit of an escape artist, so a securely fenced yard is a must. One of Mindi’s most endearing traits? She’s a “leaner”—gently pressing into you for reassurance, connection, and love. She’s house-trained, sleeps soundly in her crate through the night, and always wants to be near her people. She doesn’t ask for much—just a safe place to belong and someone to love her as deeply as she’ll love them. Today, Mindi is surrounded by people who believe in her. Her past doesn’t define her—it’s only the beginning of a beautiful new chapter. We know her perfect match is out there.
