Story
Stella is an ex-racing greyhound with a sweet disposition. She is now 11 years old and a senior. Stella is a high stress and high anxious dog that would be happy in a home with low energy. Greyhounds sleep 15 hours a day and do not require a lot of exercise. Currently she is walked 2-4 times a day as we do not have a backyard. She knows the command of come, lay down and “walk around” which is a command of walking in a circle on a mat to wipe her paws. Stella isn’t a barker and loves to be petted. She is very friendly. Stella needs to find a new home as our family can no longer manage her needs due to family health and well-being. We hope to see her secured with a gentle soul that will love her dearly.

Story
Maka is a well trained, loving dog. She loves people and being pet. Maka knows how to sit, shake, and lie down, and is house trained. She most likely was also leash-trained previously. Maka was a stray that showed up to my workplace. She greatly enjoyed being an inside dog but is no longer able to be so with us due to a family health condition. Sadly, she strongly dislikes living outside and developed a skin allergy when outside much of the day. Although her allergy is treated, our vet confirmed outside life isn’t the life for Maka, especially in warmer months when whatever she has an allergy to is blooming. We are looking to find her a home where she can primarily be inside. She prefers to be the only dog. (We have another dog, but she isn’t too keen on other animals, even though she eventually got used to him.) However, she would be a loyal loving inside companion. Her shots are up to date, and she’s excited to find another loving family that can keep her primarily inside!
