Story
Allison (Ally)’s mother was found pregnant and abandoned by VBSPCA. Mother delivered many puppies and I adopted beautiful Ally at only 6 weeks. Ally has been wonderful. She learned potty training almost immediately. She is very well house trained now and act calmly in the house. She is obedient and loves to please her human. She is a happy dog. I feel forced to rehoming her with a heartbreak because I’m pregnant and they diagnosed me with a condition. I’m having a very hard time bringing her out. She loves the dog park and I’m unable to go. I’m also unable to bring her on walks because she is a very strong dog and would pull at times and with a huge belly I cannot do that. I think she deserves to go with a family who can give her that opportunity to run and download the energy she has. If left at home she would sleep peacefully and wait for her moment to go out. She is good with other dogs and big kids. She jumps at people out of excitement and she has never growled in her whole life.

This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org.Sponsor Me!
