Meet the beautiful Daisy Jo! This sweet girl was adopted as a puppy from a local shelter and spent about 2½ years with her family, where she loved her humans, including the kiddos. Unfortunately, due to a family member’s allergies, Daisy found herself back at the shelter through no fault of her own.
Understandably, Daisy was heartbroken and terrified in the shelter, so she was transferred to a foster home with Fetch, where she’s slowly learning that good things are still ahead of her. And guess what? Her sweet personality is starting to shine!
Daisy Jo is a gentle, sensitive, and somewhat timid soul who just needs a little time to feel safe. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and gets along with the resident dogs and cat. She may be a little hesitant to trust new humans at first, but once she realizes you’re one of the good ones, get ready for your heart to melt!
This girl has a serious love-bug side! Once she feels comfortable, she’ll gently nudge her foster’s hand to request more affection. And bum scratches? Oh yes, please! Those are definitely high on her list of favorite things.
Daisy also has a playful side! One of her favorite pastimes is playing fetch with her ball. She’ll proudly bring it right to you and place it in your hands, politely letting you know that your throwing services are needed immediately. After all, why should she have to ask twice?
She also loves playing with one of the resident dogs and would enjoy having a furry friend of her own. Her ideal canine companion would be more of a gentle goofball than a WWE wrestler! Rough, intense play can scare Daisy, so a laid-back pup with a friendly, easygoing play style would be her perfect match.
A securely fenced yard would be wonderful for Daisy Jo. It would give her a safe place to stretch her legs, chase her ball, and enjoy the great outdoors without the worry that a sudden loud noise or something scary might send her running.
But when it comes right down to it, Daisy's wish list is pretty simple. She wants a family who will be patient with her, help her build confidence, celebrate her little victories, and show her what it feels like to be truly safe and loved.
Most importantly, she needs a family who will love her forever and never, ever let her go again. Losing the family she knew was heartbreaking, and Daisy deserves a home where she’ll never have to wonder if she belongs.
