Story
He was found near the border of Mexico, alone on the streets and in rough shape — battling a horrendous infection in his nose and eyes. But even then, his tail still wagged. After a long journey of healing, care, and patience, Tucker is finally ready for a home of his own. We’re not entirely sure of his breed mix, but we are sure of this: Tucker is 100% adorable and absolutely ready to be someone’s best friend. He’s more into people than playgroups — he can coexist with other dogs, but his heart belongs to you. Tucker prefers human attention over doggy drama, and that’s just how he likes it. Cats? Not so much. He’s politely passing on those. You’ll often catch him tossing a ball in the air for himself, proudly parading his favorite toy around the yard, or trotting after you just to see what you’re up to. He’s smart, loyal, and oh-so-lovable. Tucker’s past wasn’t kind, but his future looks bright — and he’s ready to share it with someone who’ll love him like he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who lives to love you, Tucker’s your guy. Tucker is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. Tucker is available for transport to St. Augustine, FL on December 20, 2025. The transport fee is $125 If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, deworming Spay/neuter surgery Microchip

Story
Titus is about 1 year old and is a typical happy, playful puppy! He is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. He was rescued with his mom Teresa and siblings Taelynn and Tessie from a hoarding situation that brought them to the Hondo shelter near the border of Mexico. We are so happy they are all safe with us. We can see Titus doing well in a home where he can get lots of attention and playtime with his family. He is curious and also enjoys being held. He has a fun personality. He enjoys playing with his toys and his siblings. He is just a fun-loving puppy who can’t wait to find a home of his own! He would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. Titus is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Augustine, FL on December 20th. Story
Delta is a strong-willed 6 year-old who weighs 48 pounds. She is like a Mack truck with short, stubby legs. She is stubborn and as strong as an ox. Think Basset Hound with a mystery twist- and a whole lot of charm. Delta was found on the streets of the Rio Grande Valley, with scars all over her body. She had a hard life which made her the tough dog that she is. She has an old hip injury that doesn't alter her ability to walk or run. She has been through a lot and is ready for her forever home. She will require a tough owner that is willing to train her and make her the best dog she can be. Are you just as stubborn and want things to go your way? If so, then Delta is the gal for you ! She is loving, but would do best in a home where she can be the only dog with her person. She told us she prefers to be spoiled and live her life in the AC on a couch without other dogs to bother her. She will keep you laughing with her crazy antics. She will give you endless loyalty, laughs and love. Delta has tested positive for Chagas disease and is doing great on Dr. Madigan's treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas She is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. Her adoption fee is $325 and she is also available for transport to St. Augustine, FL on December 20, 2025. The transport fee is $125 Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip **Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance.** If you’d like to make this dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Delta tested positive for Chagas disease and has already started treatment. With treatment, Chagas is fully curable, and dogs go on to live long, happy lives. Tracy’s Paws is one of the first rescues to test every dog for Chagas, and we’ve had measurable success with our treatment protocol. We are also committed to educating adopters and the public about Chagas so even more. Delta tested positive for heartworms and has been treated. Considering this pet for adoption?
