Reintroducing Roxy 💗
You’ve seen her, you love her, she’s socially awkward but she can learn to love you too… Roxy!!!
Roxy spent another week with her foster family, and she’s just as amazing as ever. Her resource guarding has improved SO MUCH!! She’s sharing toys, and backing off of food with little to no issues at all. Her muzzle has greatly increased her confidence in public, and she’s passing people and dogs on walks without paying them much attention at all!! She’s easily redirected with treats, and LOVES hotdogs.
She’s crate trained, housebroken, leash trained, and knows basic commands like “here,” “sit,” and “wait.” She gets along great with her fosters personal dog, and could live in a home with another calm, respectful dog. 🐶 She has lived with cats before, and has shown some interest in chasing, but when pressure was applied by the cat, she got scared and tried to hide from it for the rest of the time it was around. 🐱 She would prefer to live in a home with only women, no men or children. 👸 She has male friends, so we know she is capable, but they will need to be willing to put in the extra work to earn her trust. 🤝
Roxy is smart, affectionate, and athletic. If you’re looking for a dedicated hiking companion, she’s your gal. Want to cuddle up on the couch all day?? This lady is game, as long as you don’t mind her holding her face very close to yours while she stares deeply into your soul (she can SEE you). 👀
