Meet Maggie 🐾
Maggie is a 6-year-old beagle weighing in at 23 lbs of sweetness, soft fur, and sunshine-loving charm. Through absolutely no fault of her own, Maggie found herself needing a fresh start — and she’s ready to find a family to spoil her the way she deserves.
This girl is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. While she can be crated, Maggie does best when left out with a little space of her own. She’s currently happiest gated in the kitchen when home alone and settles in easily for naps and relaxation.
Maggie is overall a very calm, easygoing dog who enjoys the simple things in life: sunbathing, cuddling with her people, carrying around toys, and going for walks. She gets excited to meet new people and has the classic happy beagle howl when she’s feeling extra joyful — so apartment life may not be her perfect match. 💛
She is dog friendly, though her play style can be a bit dominant at times. That said, she does not need another dog in the home to be happy. Cats are unknown, but she has done well seeing rabbits through a gate and did not obsess over them. Her previous owner also shared that she has been patient with children.
If you’re looking for a calm companion with soulful beagle eyes, a loving personality, and the softest fur imaginable, Maggie may be your girl.
