Story
Estella la Bella is a very dainty gal. Another member of the sweet girl's club we have at HSWC right now. She was surrendered when her family could not take care of her any longer. She is very neat in her kennel, so happy to sit on her comfy doggy bed. She is such an easy going little 35 pound lady. She follows her person around from place to place. Gently asking "what you are doing and where are we going and what's that and can I sniff that...?"She has a very soothing way about her, and you tend to relax when she is around. Her gentle spirit is contagious. Her fur is silky and soft and you can tell she is proud of her appearance when you tell her she is a pretty girl. She is the perfect age, somewhere between 4-6 yrs -old no bouncy puppy energy. And yet she will enjoy exploring. She will make the perfect companion to relax with and have nice time enjoying outdoors on sniffari and then catching a nap watching the Orioles. She likes cats and has a gentle curiosity about what their names are and can she sniff them. She has been interested in small and medium sized dogs and even some bigger calm dogs don't appear to bother her. She has been around kids 10 years old, but would be ok with younger age as long as they are respectful and go slowly with her. ❎She is not a fan of things coming over her head and ❎vet visits will need to have alot of positive reinforcement to enable her to relax. We suggest have a home vet or do some visits to the vet office before any exams or treatments are needed to build up her confidence and make her feel this is a good place to visit with nice people and treats. She does not care for the needles but is still polite and has good manners during the process. I can picture her in your home living with you as to do your chores and when she gets tired of following you strong she will go curl up on her dog bed and wait for you to cuddle with her. She is not showing us she is a dog that will immediately jump in your lap. She probably misses her family and is a bit heartbroken, but she is always happy to see her friends as she hopes of her bed and comes to the kennel door. She is a volunteer favorite for sure🩷👍 housetrained.👍 cats 😸👍 small and medium dogs, some calm large dogs might be ok. Meet and greets would be needed.👍knows sit and paw👍👨‍👩‍👧 people are ok!❎needles are not ok!❎ no fast hands over her head. ❎ no dogs barking in her face.❎ no wild kids. Primary Color: Tri Color Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 35.8 Age: 6yrs 2mths 2wks
